It is my favorite feature and I use it all the time, but I wish it was a bit more intuitive. It would be nice if there was a way to easily search for an artist and see if/when you have seen them before as well as how many times you have seen them, and where. I have a couple suggestions but overall it’s a perfect app. Exactly what I was looking for! My grievances are only that it should have a section for records you want or like a wishlist for music you’re looking for ! It also needs to do better about having information on black artists. I swear I couldn’t find any Summer Walker on there or any recent Beyoncé concerts and that’s crazy like it’s BEYONCÉ. You gotta get updated on that. Where no stats would load or songs would be shown. I’ve updated but nothings changed. It used to be so fun to check and compare against my friends. However in the past year or so they keep adding new features that have made the app more complex and harder to navigate. My friends and I almost never check it anymore. Was much better when they kept it simple - why mess with something good?! ### 2/5 — Awful UI *2026-03-07, version 1.25.54* At its core this is a fun app that I’m compelled to check in on each week when that new recap drops. The issue is that every update changes something about the UI for the worse! Further, there has been no meaningful upgrade to the core draw, which showcases the same ‘top genres/albums/songs’ as it has for nearly 2 years (just now presented in an ugly swipe format). My advice to devs- expand the analytics to be more fun, settle (!!!) on an appealing format for presenting it and comparing to friends, refine from there. Then they updated it and the new UI does a poor job of concisely presenting the information you’re interested in. Just a long page of large boxes for each song. If you click on each friend you get a Spotify wrapped style rundown which is fine as an option, but shouldn’t be the primary way to see what people are listening to. Theres no distinction between when your friend group ends and random songs they listened to begins. There’s no “check at a glance” option anymore. Just feels confusing. The week closes when I’m at work, then I just forget to go back and look. I used to take a glance, something would look interesting and I’d remember to check back. Users should be presented with a quick summary of by buddies tunes like how it used to be. The whole Spotify wrapped style thing is great when you’ve got down time but it should be a secondary option. Long story short, it feels cumbersome now and I haven’t checked it in weeks. Posting this in hopes that they restructure. Also I noticed some of the analytics seem somewhat for the amount of data this app should have access to. I would like to see a wider range of stats on your profile. Finally, if there could be a few more features that make the app interesting to use without your friends being on it I think that would help make a stronger user base (I know this isn’t the point of the app but adding more to your public profile would be fun). You can create groups with your friends and see what they are listening to as well as join various artists fandoms! I always get excited when my music recap drips for the week! You can also create a music bookshelf to keep track of Vinyls and Cds, etc. Best app I have seen on Apple Store so far! This app is so helpful for me to track of everything in Apple Music or Spotify! The only thing is that the album pictures are slow to load sometimes but it is probably my wifi.
