Listen to notes, work notecards, etc. It’s accessible and easy to use! I don’t need a bunch of “extra” to take up time I don’t have. SuperfastCPA gives you just what you need in an easily accessible form. I will begin studying in a couple of weeks and have started to listening to the audio notes for a good overview before I start studying. The app layout is very accessible. It’s nice to be able to hop on to review notes or take a quick 5-question quiz instead of mindlessly scrolling through social media. It’s such a great way to take advantage of spare time and get in extra study sessions. I purchased this in June and have used it to supplement my review course while studying for FAR. I’m yet to get my score, but I definitely thought this app helped me prepare, whether I passed or not. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 2/5 — Good content. Audio playback buggy *2025-03-23, version 6.0* The app is simple and that’s all you need. But the audio review notes is buggy. Once you pause it and reopen, the app is stuck with a white screen and infinite spinning wheel. You must hard close then audio notes goes back to the white screen. No way to reset except turning phone on/ off You can use Follow along audio notes but that is also buggy. Once you pause eg using AirPods you cannot restart unless you open up the app again. ### 2/5 — Quizzes slow to load *2024-11-03, version 5.3.0* Just lads forever, can't take them during my breaks ### 2/5 — iPad version not good *2023-12-06* The iPad version is really just the iPhone version in the middle of the iPad screen. It does not scale. I was hoping that if I turned it landscape I could more easily read the notes but no. I just downloaded the pdf and use a different app to view the notes. The app is useless for that purpose. It’s fine on a phone but I prefer to study on my iPad which I have with me more than my phone. Also the audio notes can’t be played in my car because the app isn’t compatible with CarPlay. I have a workaround to start playing on the iPad by Bluetooth audio but that’s annoying. ### 2/5 — Can’t play audio *2021-11-29, version 5.1* If you finish an audio file and try to go to the next, it doesn’t work. If you pause a video for any length of time and try to play it again, it doesn’t work. If I were to be doing something where my hands are busy, I would not be able to see the box follow the narration of the audio notes. However, the follow-along feature has never worked for me. The auto-scroll keeps shutting off, and the phone screen often locks. My only negative comment about the whole thing is the App. Every time I start the audio notes and close out of the app it loses my spot and I constantly have to try and find out where I left off. I mainly used the audio notes because it was so helpful to listen to the concepts over and over again while doing household chores, commuting to and from work, and taking walks. Review notes and mini quizzes are great to use for high level overview of concepts and especially helpful if you’re in a noisy environment and can’t really hear the audio notes that well. I haven’t taken a single exam just yet, but spending time on this app is reducing my exam anxiety. The notes are great, and I love that I can use the table of contents to jump to the related pages (would love a keyword search feature). The audios are easy to listen through and it helps that we can follow along with the text format as the audio plays. The quizzes are great and teach a lot with their simple straightforward explanations and I appreciate the ability to see all the questions, answers and explanations at the end of each quiz. And of course the podcasts are just the cherry on top. My confidence builds each time I spend time on this app. Thanks so much Nate. Hope I get to tell you I’m a CPA one day! ### 5/5 — WISH I FOUND THIS SOONER *2022-12-07* Found super fast CPA a few weeks before my FAR exam. The audio notes and on the go MCQ quizzes were a life saver for me. I passed far and audit first try implementing the recommended methods. Waiting on REG score then only have one more! Every candidate for the CPA exams should have this app and supplement with MCQ when they are on the go. The questions are “simple” in that you can do the math in your head (unlike normal review course questions) and it really helps over time. ### 5/5 — SuperFastCPA Believer *2022-11-02* I think this app is incredible, and I especially think the products of SuperFastCPA are life changing. I tell all my accounting friends about this product. This app is very easy to use, especially the quizzes. The quizzes can be pulled up in about 1-2 seconds, which is very helpful when you are trying to get one in on the fly. The review notes are great as well, very comprehensive and useful. The audio notes are also great. I do have one suggestion for those at SuperFastCPA. It is actually really easy to lose your place in the audio notes. It doesn’t tell you where you were last listening if you turn off the app all the way and come back to it, and it also doesn’t keep your progress if you do remember where you were. I ended up downloading the notes to listen to on a different app on my phone. Try to make it so that it always keeps my place, and maybe even keep track of how many times I’ve listened to each part of the audio notes (for fun!)
