The app is evolving which I also think is great as there was suddenly in increase in users who unfortunately where there to get everything and didn’t care about anything else. The app still has a lot flaws especially with these new stuff they are implementing, for one you have to stay the whole live to get coins. Understandable why they did this but again it very flawed . I was in a live for over 2hrs and left to the other live to check it out, to my misfortune that’s when the other host dropped coins and well I didn’t get rewarded despite being engaged for 2hrs. I really wish there was some way to fix this , I know people would only stay 1-2 min in lives and still get coins I think the amount should be increased to 10-15 minutes and if your were there engaging still be able to get coins. Supergreat is becoming emotionally draining in that aspect, I have to be on my phone constantly and have to put my phone on “do not disturb “ because even a phone call will interfere with the coin drop. I know they are most likely doing this to push for more video reviews but you only get 1 coin for 10 views . That’s another major flaw. I personally think they should give 1-2 coins for views , I think this would definitely make user want to create more content if they are incentivized better. Well that was my 2cents on this app. ### 5/5 — A great app for sure!!! *2021-08-11, version 2.10.3* Supergreat is amazing and it’s legit! You make 30 second video reviews of everyday beauty and make up products that you use. Then you send the link of your video to your friends to watch. The more views your videos gets, the more super coins you earn! Super coins are used to redeem free products! This app really is amazing. Try it out! ### 5/5 — BEST APP ON THE APP STORE *2021-08-09, version 2.10.2* I have had this app for a long Time now. I’ve always been skeptical of apps like this, but there is no strings attached. You do videos of your favorite products, and people view those videos. You get coins for views. It seem tedious, but after you get started it’s easy. Rack up some followers and make tons of videos. It’s seriously super fun and the products are absolutely free, with the exception of the party purchases, but even those are worth it, they’re normally 50 percent or more off! I’ve gotten products from glossier, freck, Giorgio Armani, bliss, and many many more. Totally recommend. I see some reviews saying that it’s not really worth it. It does take a while to get coins but once you start making a good bit of videos, the coins are pretty easy to get ### 5/5 — Log in issues *2021-06-10, version 2.7* I love the app and I’ve had it for almost a month now but today it suddenly logged me out and then when I tried logging back in with my Apple ID it said account limit reached. I emailed super great but have yet to hear back from them. I really hope they fix the problem so I can get back into my account!! ### 5/5 — Please treat yourself and get this app! *2021-05-25, version 2.7* There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about this app! It definitely deserves a five star rating. If you are a makeup and skincare lover like me then please go get this for yourself. I have not spent a single dime on this app in anyway and I just received two full size products that I purchased with my in store rewards. The shipping (also free) was express so it came in 2-3 days. I also had asked for a refund on I product I did not mean to purchase with my credits and support contacted me within 30 minutes offering me a full refund. Not to mention the community on here is so amazing and inspiring. It’s all a bunch of amazing people who promote self love and support each other. There are interactive lives as well that you can join which is super fun especially since most people are stuck in quarantine and that’s just an added bonus from the free products and exclusive deals. ### 4/5 — It’s nice, just a suggestion though.! *2021-04-27, version 2.6.2* I absolutely love this app, everyone that follows me, or if I follow them are super kind! The amazing part is, is that you can actually get free products... just from Supercoin! I actually have a product on its way now. (: Making videos, is super fun and easy. Although, I do wish you could edit the videos more, it’s not a huge game changer, but it’s definitely upsetting when I have to start over because I sneezed.. 😅❤️. I wish views could add up to more points though, I get you’re trying to keep a successful business, but one coin every 10 views? That’s a little high, especially for beginners like me! Maybe lower it to.. a coin every 5 views? If not, that’s okay. [: In conclusion, the app is amazing, and if you haven’t gotten it yet... why not? There’s free skincare, haircare, and even Makeup out there waiting for you! Definitely check it out! The reviews, articles, and different products that I’ve been introduced to have changed the way that I look at beauty. Getting honest reviews on different beauty products is what I truly love about this community. The ONLY thing I would change is the drop function. I’ve had this app for about a year and a half now and I’ve NEVER been able to get a drop. If, instead of a drop a day, we could have a store function this app would go from 4 stars to 20 in my eyes. Please consider doing this with the app I feel like it would be way more fun if more people could get products. More products would mean more reviews and, in my eyes, an even better community. ### 4/5 — Love the app but... *2021-03-10, version 2.6.0* It’s really hard to redeem coins, the people that have been on the app for quite a while seem to snag everything in LITERALLY 2 MINUTES?!?? I would like to see a variety of people getting items. Maybe limit the amount of items one can redeem on a monthly basis to ensure that EVERYONE gets A ‘FAIR’ CHANCE to try & receive/review something to get creating content themselves for the app. Other than that, I love the app creators & content creators. I love the reviews and the ‘Live’ events. I just want to score products with my coins I’ve earned through purchases, interacting with ‘lives’, watching videos, sharing videos with my followers... it’s kind of a turn off to be investing time AND money into an application and not be able to redeem / get rewards. Will change my four star review to a five star review if this changes. ### 4/5 — LOVE THIS APP! *2021-02-26, version 2.6.0* Okay, let me start by saying I love this app. I haven't gotten enough coins to get a product yet, but I've only made 4 reviews and I'm already half way there. I would've given this app a full 5 stars if there were just a few small minor changes, specifically being a better in app video editor. Or at the very least let us upload videos from our camera roll instead! The video editor is very very basic and I feel like the quality video content that's put out could be greatly increased with a few more features like being able to trim videos. I would especially love a feature where you can upload from the camera roll, since I do most of my video editing on another app. I hope this is something that may make it into an update because I would love to make better quality content for SuperGreat!! ### 5/5 — Amazing app *2020-12-28, version 2.4.2* When I was introduced to the app, I thought it was a scam bc being honest many apps do that so I wasn’t fully sure it was legit. After I watched people’s videos I saw how they got packages and it was just unbelievable for me! I start redeem drops after 1 week making videos! Suddenly I got my first package and I was in shock I couldn’t believe it so I keep receiving all packages and it was just a dream😍I really love this app and the community is wonderful. Everyone is welcome and I love supporting people and being supported. I have been looking for this "drop" feature and looking to use my coins to get free makeup. I attended one live show and the host gave me coins (thank you girl). I am so confused on how to look for products that I can use my coins for payment. I have tried finding the community watch tab. Is there a schedule on when makeup drops will be available? There are no instructions and people on YT just say how great this app is but no one tells you how to utilize your coins to get free stuff. I may review this app higher if I actually know how it works. People on YT made it seem so easy to buy stuff with the coins that you accumulated but no one ever discussed how. All Supergreat says is how to accumulate coins. I have the coins, someone just teach me how to get products shipped to me. ### 1/5 — I’m so disappointed. *2022-05-04, version 3.6.0* This app used to be FANTASTIC, but I’m extremely unhappy with what it has turned into recently. I have three main problems with the app. 1. Everything is WAYYY too pricy. Nothing is below 100 supercoins now. Why so expensive?? When I first downloaded the app, the supercoin prices were very reasonable, but this is just too much. 2. What happened to the drops? The new layout hides the redeemable items for stuff you can buy with real money instead of redeemable coins. I thought the point of this app was free makeup and goodies? Why are you hiding the redeems?? I don’t want to BUY stuff, I want to REDEEM stuff. Please reconsider your layout. 3. What happened to the makeup?? Everything is skincare!! I unfortunately feel like this app is focusing too much on becoming a store than a fun app to redeem fun products. I’m very disappointed in what it has turned into. ### 1/5 — Great concept, poor execution *2021-08-20, version 2.10.4* Let’s face it, people join the app for the rewards but STAY on the app for the experience but lately the quality has been going more and more downhill. Ever since they expanded their user base, the app has been saturated with hosts that are not entertaining and not at all experts in what they’re talking about. The app gives me HS clique vibes. A lot of the users and hosts are petty in the comments and lives. I heard they also are looking to force you to make videos or ban you from redeeming rewards, which is their prerogative and business model, but not at all inclusive. It’s turning into more and more of a PR shop where people can’t give their honest opinions on the products they review. Overall the app itself is a great idea but it’s just not fun anymore. The lives are repetitive (people who like the sound of their own voice.) and the staff is obtuse. ### 1/5 — Not worth the time *2021-08-07, version 2.10.2* This would be a great site if you could actually get a chance to use your coins to buy ANY of the drops for that day! Every time I get a notification that there’s been a “drop” released and I go to get on the app to claim I can’t all it does is look like it’s trying to load the page the drops are on so I actually never get a chance to claim and review any of the drops !!!!! I’m able to watch lives or other videos or reviews but the page with the drops nope unable to access and this happens always ive never been able to claim a thing! Because of course when I am able to get the page to load of course everything has been claimed so there’s nothing left! Just disappointed and feel like this app is a waste of time think I’m going to be deleting! ### 2/5 — Kinda Trickery *2021-10-26, version 2.11.2* Reason I give it 2 stars is because nobody tells you that this is a first come first serve type of app. It doesn’t matter if you have enough coins to redeem a prize; if you don’t click on it fast enough then you just don’t get anything no matter how many coins you have and that’s what I don’t like about the app. I didn’t know it was a first come first serve and it’s like a battle to redeem stuff; I still haven’t redeem anything and I’ve had enough coins to redeem something. So if you don’t like battling for prizes then this app isn’t for you. Also sometimes their will be reward drops that’s not even on schedule times it’s suppose to be so that’s why I said the app is trickery. The only way you will know about a reward drop is by opening the app and checking for it or keeping up with them on Instagram. ### 2/5 — NOT super great *2021-07-29, version 2.10.2* This is my honest review of this app. This app is a good concept and the community on here is really sweet. However, please realize that the rewards are almost impossible to redeem. I have gone to live shows and seen the reward drop live, yet still couldn’t get it. I do think this app has qualities better than just reward drops, but you cannot market your app and appeal to people saying you give free products when you obviously give very few. It’s bait and switch and unethical. Please work on stocking your products, or limit users to only one per week (or similar) so that everyone has a fair shot. ### 3/5 — Older Version Was Better *2022-11-23, version 4.8.2* It’s not terrible now but I stopped using the app after it changed drastically. I have been making reviews and using the app since the app first launched! It used to be so easy to earn coins and redeem for free products and that’s what I loved about it. Now that it has grown bigger, it has become less fun. You used to be able to redeem points daily and the process was easy to navigate. Now you have to wait for “live drops” and you might not even hit the button in time to get the product! Insanely busy app now. (Not saying I’m not happy for the creators of the app, success should be celebrated, but boy is it difficult now to get free products when it used to be so easy!) I hope you guys take my constructive criticism because I really did love Supergreat originally. I got so many of the products and it was so fun.. It’s just not the same… I just feel like it’s not worth it anymore I’m sorry. 😭 ### 3/5 — It’s okay *2022-08-23, version 4.0.2* The app is alright, I can’t upload reviews bc they want to prevent filters & edits, but it makes it hard when I mess up & have to start all over. You earn coins for $ off, but you can only use one coupon per purchase & it is only enough to take shipping off…? So I have $25 dollars in coupons, but it would have to be 5 regular priced purchases with $5 off which is conveniently the price of shipping. Not sure what I’m trying to collect or save or do? Otherwise if you’re just trying to see real reviews on makeup products & not worried about getting anything out of it, it’s good for that! ### 3/5 — Supergreat is awesome *2022-01-28, version 3.1.0* This is by far my favorite app and I recommend it to everyone. It was much better when coins were easier to get and there have been several new “updates” lately that are not great but what can you do? It used to be easier to get drops and they had them at 7 pm every night but now they are very random and sporadic. Hope it’s not going downhill like a lot of apps do when they get popular because it’s still fun for now ### 3/5 — I like it so far, but it could use some work *2021-12-31, version 3.0.0* I originally downloaded this app to get free products, but after a while I wasn’t really interested in that as much. It’s really a great way to discover new products and different uses for them. Now before I buy any new beauty product I look it up on this app to see what people have to say about it. It’s way better than looking at online reviews, because you can actually see people trying on the product and what it looks like on different skin colors. My complaint is with making the videos. They only allow you 60 seconds, which isn’t very long if you’re trying to give a detailed and honest review. Also there’s virtually no video editing. I would be ok with that if you could upload videos from your camera roll, because then I could edit it on another app, but you have to make the videos in the app. I also wish you could control your notifications more, because I’m tired of getting notifications for people going live that I’m not even subscribed to. I don’t want to turn notifications off for the whole app though, because obviously I want to know when people comment on my videos, or if someone I am subscribed to goes live or posts a video. I absolutely love all the bonds I have made through the app. This is a strong, supportive, positive community. 💜 Each member can earn coins by creating reviews, joining lives and joining challenges. These coins can be used to claim free product drops or for discounts. 💜 I am a SuperCreator and enjoy getting to review products through product seedings. I have been introduced to so many amazing brands and people through SuperGreat! As an Influencer in the Beauty Neiche, I was floored with the app. Very user friendly and people friendly(meaning the people are extremely friendly)! You have to read their newsletter “The Beauty Breakdown” to determine when the drops are…but it is not 100% accurate. Take this week. A Drop is listed for Thursday with Bubble (AWESOME!). But when I go to set a reminder for the Live, the Drop is not listed. I asked about this in a Live with one of their Pros and found out it was a mistake. No Drop just a Live Sale. Uhhhh, so when are the Drops? I love earning coins by doing challenges, making reviews, attending live shows. I’ve done reviews on products and it’s pretty easy to redeem coins but you can never use your coins anymore because by the time you get the notification to redeem the item of the day or even in live drops it sells out before even a second. They should have it to where you can only get one drop a week so that everyone has a chance to redeem something or do a couple of drops a day but you can only redeem on.
