Yet it frequently fails to update your position which results in the map not unlocking. If you contact their support team to report anything like this you get zero response. It’s really disappointing that if you enjoy travel and/or map exploring that this app promises something and then lets you down regularly. It happens quite often. It’s recorded a flight across France but failed to record a walk through a town. Great idea poor delivery. Poor customer experience and no response when you report anything🤦‍♂️ ### 2/5 — Glitchy AF *2026-01-17, version 4.0.28* So I’m trying to use the app. The app shows a place in my timeline that is 20 miles away. I’m trying to remove it but it never goes away. Also, I went to import some cities and countries and they never save. I like the idea of the app so I’m going to give it a chance. ### 4/5 — It’s great but it’s touchy sometimes *2025-10-19* I had this app for over a year, travelled all over the US and internationally and it was so fun to see the map unlock my different places. Then I got busy with work and my premium membership lapsed for about a month. When I logged back into the app, I figured my account would still be there, just not premium. But nope. When I let my premium membership lapse, my entire account got deleted. I tried logging back in with the email I created an account with, and it said no account existed. Update: about two weeks after that, I logged in one day and all my stuff from the previous year was there 🤷‍♀️ ### 1/5 — Lost years worth of data *2025-08-14, version 4.0.26* I’ve had this app for years, collecting where I’ve been, and one day I open it and my account is signed out. I try to log back in but I can’t for some reason, so I try and do a password change using my email. It says they can’t find an account for that email, even though I’ve had emails from them and know that that’s the email I used. Now years worth of data are gone. I’m switching to bump. ### 4/5 — Fog! *2025-08-11, version 4.0.25* Amazing app! I love the fog of world feature. The only con I see really is that if I zoom out too far, it disappears! And I really like to see everything from further out. It’s great how it is, don’t get me wrong. But a little terraria action from far zoom would be very uplifting. 😭. The app itself is amazing and super entertaining and makes you want to explore even more, it’s actually helped me explore new places and discover areas in my neighborhood, as well as competitiveness for simply exploring! The few improvements i would love to see is it would be great to see your fog explored when zoomed out more, i think this should be the developers main focus at the moment. Another small issue i’ve noticed is my stats dropping randomly, although this may be service cutting out or something if there would be a way to fix this it would be great. ### 1/5 — Only problem *2025-07-22, version 4.0.25* Love the app but THE FOG IS SOOOOO LAGGY it’s impossible to actually get a good idea of where I have been because when I try to zoom in it glitches and when I zoom out it sometimes shows the fog differently , why can’t it just save the fog and not have to reload it evytime you move the map because it’s definitely messing it up, please fix the fog it’s so glitched it ruins the app ### 3/5 — Am I the only one here? *2025-07-16, version 4.0.24* OK app little slow. But I apparently am the only one using it in my area because I’m traveling hundreds of miles and I am becoming the mayor of every place I visit because no one else has ever checked in there, so I’m not sure what that’s about. ### 2/5 — Great concept.. *2025-07-14, version 4.0.24* I loved this app, the idea around it, and ran it for a year or so. However, several weeks ago the app signed out and i couldn't remember what method I used to sign-in. BE AWARE: If you attempt a different sign-in method it will delete your account and start anew. The creator's apathy towards helping me recover the past year's worth of content has motivated me to give up on the concept until one a bit more fleshed out comes along. ### 1/5 — Deleted my data *2025-07-13, version 4.0.24* Logged me out and deleted a years worth of travel history. ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-07-12, version 4.0.24* Clicked the free trial of superboost+, automatically charged card the full amount and cannot get any response for a refund. ### 2/5 — Lost all progress *2025-07-06, version 4.0.23* It was a really good app for me but all the sudden it erased all my progress and I had almost 1,500 miles discovered I want my progress back ### 3/5 — It mid *2025-07-01, version 4.0.22* I really like the app I just hate that you have to pay premium just for it to track when you not physically in the app otherwise the app is pretty cool I would not spend money on this but I am going to be keeping the app and continuing using it ### 1/5 — Everything gone? *2025-06-26* I was randomly logged out. When I went to log back in my whole account was gone and it made me fill in new user info. I was unable to easily find any way to contact someone. After checking every FAQ on the website and clicking the sad face, a chat box finally popped up. However, I sent a chat this morning and still haven’t heard back from anyone. If this gets fixed and my information gets restored I will move my review back to 5 stars. This happened in the past too and nobody ever responded. But this time I had three years worth of travels to different countries logged on this app and will be devastated if it’s all gone. I will not start fresh with this app again. **Developer response:** Hi there, It sounds like you logged into the wrong account or accidentally created a new account (so signed up with email and then just tried to log in with Google or Apple - which made you another account). I have reinstalled it twice, but it’s not picked up any of my travels and failed to allow check-ins or if it does allow for check-ins it’s not recognising that I may be at Chafford hundred railway station but picks up the Tesco that’s further away so its location system is not right ### 1/5 — No available privacy policy? *2026-06-19, version 4.0.40* I tap the privacy policy button on the welcome screen. No response. I tap it in the web browser, which takes me to the app. no privacy policy. I tap privacy policy in the app settings. No response. How are we supposed to trust an AI app that wants its users location at all times if we have no idea where it goes? Years of tracking and travel data all over the world and the data of where I went just disappears. When it works… *2026-06-12, version 4.0.40* I have been using this app for about two weeks and it’s really fun to see all the places I’ve been but sometimes I open the app and the map just doesn’t appear at all and none of the buttons do anything. It’s like it’s just frozen. But I know it’s still functional because I get notifications from the app all the time. It’s a very cool concept! I would appreciate it if developers could fix this issue. ### 5/5 — Wow *2026-01-18, version 4.0.28* So far ### 5/5 — Should be able to zoom out more with fog *2025-07-23, version 4.0.25* Can only zoom out the size of one city before the fog disappears. It’s nearly useless to view where you have been if you have to scroll a ton to explore where you been on road trips and what not. If you were able to zoom out the size of a region at least or a province ideally a Country it would be much more user friendly to view the fog you have cleared. This is a newer app so it does suffer issues from time to time but by using this app for over a year or so now iv noticed that they do fix things relatively quickly. If ur having issues wait a couple days and their is usually an update to fix it. Help the devs out and send an email to their support with ur issues, they are responsive and will fix it. Iv used apps were i have issues for months and support never replies.
