### 2/5 — A good idea but...

*2020-10-05, version 1.3.2*

We now have no idea how recent the check-in data is. ‘Over an hour ago’ could be weeks or months ago. Consequently busy/quiet times and stock levels are now all meaningless.
With more lockdowns looming and idiots stock piling already, a once useful app is now
ineffectual and in current form misleading.

### 2/5 — Not effective

*2020-06-24, version 1.3.2*

First problem is it relies on the public to gather the data, and now my app wont let me check in anyway.

### 2/5 — Great idea... only if people use it

*2020-06-14, version 1.3.2*

The app is definitely a great idea. However, if people don’t use it then it’s not helpful at all. If nobody has checked in for 2 or 3 days then there is an estimated wait time which is often inaccurate.

Since the last update over a week ago all shops have a last check in of over an hour which is wrong. This new update makes the app useless and I can’t see anywhere to report it so it can be fixed.

There needs to be some adjustments to the app to be able to report issues and more information provided on previous check ins and wait times so people can have a rough idea of when queues might be long.

### 2/5 — Was useful until recent update

*2020-06-04, version 1.3.2*

Since update doesnt give accurate check in time such as 3,4 hours ago or yesterday etc now only says over an hour ago, which could be any day

### 2/5 — Great Idea, But Sadly Little Use

*2020-05-19, version 1.3.1*

I’d echo other comments in that this was a good idea for an app, but unfortunately as it’s crowd sourced, there just isn’t enough people using it to provide reliable data. I live in London and the most recent check-in near me was 7 days ago, with some way longer than that. I’m at the point now where I think I will just delete it as it’s of little use. Ideally the best way of making this work would be to have queue data from supermarkets themselves, but I expect that could also hamper sales, so not something they may be keen on.

### 4/5 — Great app but ....

*2020-05-19, version 1.3.1*

The latest update has made it so you can’t see the buttons below the stock information. Unable to click waiting times, map and most importantly, Check-In buttons.

### 3/5 — This won’t work until they get supermarkets onboard.

*2020-05-16, version 1.3.1*

Great idea, but unfortunately there just isn’t enough of an active user base for this app to be useful. I suspect most users will download the app for information only, with no intention of adding data. Currently, most will probably delete the app once they discover that their local stores have not been “checked in” recently.

This app could be effective if individual supermarkets (or workers in those supermarkets) signed up to it in order to add data at regular intervals. It would help those supermarkets manage queue lengths and the experiences of their customers.

Another function to add could be a predictive function, based on asking the user if they intend to visit a particular store (and at what time) - to gauge how busy a store is expected to be at that time. When the number crunching / algorithm returns a result to the user, they can confirm whether or not they intend to proceed with their visit.

This could be a v. useful app, but unfortunately it’s only as good as the data that is added (which at the moment is not very good).

### 2/5 — Could be clearer and call for less input

*2020-05-07, version 1.2.0*

Maybe I’m dim, but it’s not clear to me what I’m expected to do. Is it Check-In 1) when I join the queue, then 2) when entering the store, then 3) when joining checkout queue, then 4) when leaving the store? If so, I’m not going to bother. I’d be happy in these days of C19, to do 1) and 2), but any more would interfere with the shopping and is of little interest. And the app doesn’t explain.

### 4/5 — Has potential

*2020-05-03, version 1.1.1*

Would be good to be able to list your favorite stores only or be able to put them in list and take out stores that do interest you

### 3/5 — Great idea but...

*2020-05-02, version 1.1.1*

Great idea but flawed as relies on crowd sourcing which is both inaccurate and depends on people having app and being bothered to upload information at the right time. As a feature improvement would suggest anything over 3 hours is automatically removed, but 5 stars for effort 👍

Another reason why the COVID-19 contact/tracing app will not work, despite everyone’s hope....

### 2/5 — Like the idea

*2020-04-30, version 1.0.9*

I not sure how this works
I would hope there would be about four check points
1) Firstly when you join the que and a time stamp taken

2) Then when you enter the store the time stamp taken again and this would give the wait time. An option to also enter a guess at the qty of other in the que would also be good
3) You do your shopping this you could update the product available as you go around the shop. Or you could skip this.
4) then you check in again when you join the que for the payment required selection self-service or operator.
5) Then once more when you exit the store.

Not sure if this app does this but I think these would give many an idea of how supermarkets are coping with this.

### 4/5 — Great idea but buggy

*2020-04-30, version 1.0.9*

This is a great idea and I hope more people will use it (as that’s the only way the info will be useful). But I find it buggy with regard to the nearest shops to me; and on the latest version it will not let me add missing stores (goes through the process but dies nothing on submit). I know it’s free etc but…

### 3/5 — Not up-to-date information

*2020-04-30, version 1.0.9*

Downloaded the app got excited to use but the information is 24 hours behind, so on checking the queues every morning, the information shown is from the previous day.

In time maybe the app will be a very useful, but for now it is not helpful, sorry.

Thx

### 3/5 — Useful to a degree

*2020-04-28, version 1.0.8*

The app could be improved in my opinion to show the time people checked in rather than just 11 hours ago. When I look at it I want to know what the real time queues are like so I can decide where I want to go or if I want to wait until a quieter time.

It is better now that more people are using it which is good.

### 2/5 — A brilliant idea but effectively pretty useless

*2020-04-28, version 1.0.8*

When my wife heard about this app from a friend, we downloaded it straight away as it sounded a brilliant idea.
Sadly, it will only become useful once people actually start feeding their data into it. Most times I go to look at one of the local supermarkets, the app gives me a queue time but, if you look closer, the last check-in was a day or even two days ago. Not much use there.
Are people using the app but not entering their data? Or are not many people using it at all? And the queues are maybe too could to reall represent accurately. We went to a supermarket recently and when we went in there was no queue or wait at all but by the time we left we could see a couple of dozen people queueing to get in. So what do I enter there - our experience or what it looks to be like now?
Maybe the overall data could be pooled to show a graph with queue length against time, so at least you could get an idea of when generally we’re the busiest times.
The app is a really great idea for these strange social distancing times but unless loads more people use it AND feedback their data, it really isn’t proving that informative.

### 4/5 — Waitrose logo looks like Iceland

*2020-04-26, version 1.0.8*

The Waitrose logo is incorrect and shown in red when it should be green. Also it would be useful to not display or un-highlight entries that are more than 2 hours old as they are by then irrelevant.

### 3/5 — Constantly freezes

*2020-04-26, version 1.0.7*

Found the app constantly freezes when trying to use it! It would be a perfect app if the freezing could be fixed

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Thieves

*2020-12-22, version 1.3.2*

Subscribed to the ad free version but it has suddenly stopped recognising my subscription and there is no method of restoring it. I tried deleting and reinstalling but that didn’t work. So they have taken my money but not provided what I have PAID for - that is theft, pure and simple.

### 1/5 — No longer works

*2020-07-27, version 1.3.2*

Was great when it initially launched but it’s no longer working.
Shame as it was a good concept.

### 1/5 — Martjsjdndnskal

*2020-06-01, version 1.3.1*

Don’t waste time people to download.time always wrong , and very slow app

### 1/5 — No longer working :(

*2020-05-31, version 1.3.1*

Was very useful, but now just shows a white screen when the app launches. A great shame.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2020-05-27, version 1.3.1*

Loved the idea but Main flaw is people haven’t signed in for 3 weeks or days for most stores so not helpful they need to find a way around it like involving supermarket staff or something.

### 1/5 — Flawed App

*2020-05-12, version 1.2.1*

One major problem with this app is it relies on people using it. Knowing the Q times a week ago is of no use to anyone. Nice idea but can’t see this being used. Open app see Q times a week old, close app.

### 1/5 — Good idea in Theory

*2020-05-06, version 1.1.1*

Thought this would be great to avoid long queues but it’s so outdated, it’s needs to be refreshed everyday, no good telling me a 5 minute queue from 5 days ago!!!

### 1/5 — Dj bezza

*2020-04-30, version 1.0.9*

This app is not good it doesn't work

### 1/5 — Don’t Bother!

*2020-04-23, version 1.0.7*

Absolutely useless, to put it plainly!

1: Shops are duplicated even though I have notified them loads of times!
2: When you get to the store, the feedback is nothing like at the actual store.
3: just don’t bother and wait till you get to the store, there really aren’t as many problems as what you think.

### 1/5 — No longer working

*2020-04-23, version 1.0.6*

I used this two days ago and checked in after my last shop but now it says there are no stores in my area and I can’t get it to work at all. Before it dying on me I thought it had real potential although I would like to be able to see past check ins in some way, so you could get an idea of quietest and most stocked times to go

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Really helpful

*2020-06-13, version 1.3.2*

My three nearest supermarkets now (13 Jun 2020) have between 100 and 200 check-ins, so it has enough data to show when stocks are highest and queues shortest each day. Using this, I’ve been able to identify times to shop when there’s no queue but enough stock to keep me happy. Every time I shop (not often) I do a check-in to add to the data. Developer makes frequent improvements and updates.

### 5/5 — It Keeps Getting Better!

*2020-06-03, version 1.3.2*

A simply brilliant app that keeps evolving with every update. Very easy to use as well. Maybe I’m one of the lucky ones, but I have found that the data is more than accurate in my area.

### 5/5 — Fantastic idea in these difficult times

*2020-05-11, version 1.2.1*

This app is brilliant, the more people adopt it the better it will become. The developer has worked really hard to get this going and is continuously improving it based on users feedback which is even more reason to use it. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Needs more people

*2020-05-01, version 1.1.0*

Needs more people to download it then more accurate

### 5/5 — Off licenses

*2020-04-26, version 1.0.7*

I think you have include in the list the little off licenses shops that will be the most dangered with the crisis.
for example Chatsworths Market, in 41 Chatsworth Road (E5 0LF) is opened 24 hours in a day; I lnow because I buy there.

### 5/5 — Good but too many duplicates

*2020-04-22, version 1.0.4*

I’ve realised there’s duplicates of the same stores in the same areas which shows different wait times and stock levels, causing confusion.. Other than that, fantastic app idea.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2020-04-20, version 1.0.4*

Found this app very useful especially in these difficult times. Enables me to choose a supermarket that has a shorter queuing time thus making it a less stressful shop.
Have shared app. 👍

### 5/5 — A really handy app

*2020-04-18, version 1.0.3*

This app as amazing as you can see all of the stores are are with in a 25 miles radius from
Your house and you can clearly see what stores are busy and what ones are not ana how long you have to wait at the stores

### 5/5 — Really useful

*2020-04-13, version 1.0.1*

I hope people share this to get more people on-board.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2020-04-13, version 1.0.1*

This will get even better the more people that use it
At this time it can very handy to know what the stocks and queue is like at your local store
