You can do everything right and the game will declare that you failed the level. Only after spending cash to buy diamonds will it allow you to move on to the next level. Don’t Buy. From upgrading different aspects of the game to moving through the gates, the crystals required is outrageous, and you have to re-earn them at each level. After spending over 200,000 coins in the casino and NEVER getting crystals awarded, I have come to the conclusion that this game is all about making the player pay to continue. Based on this I have decided to deleted the app and make sure that any other games from G5 are not downloaded either. ### 1/5 — Too expensive to play *2026-05-05, version 3.12.1300* I’ve had this game on my phone for a few years and honestly enjoy playing it. The levels are fun and progressively get harder so it doesn’t become boring. The downside is that it’s way too expensive to do anything. You literally have to pay real money to get gems and you need gems to do any important upgrades. I made the mistake of spending my real money on gems to buy the cashier chick so my little lady wasn’t running around the store willy-nilly trying to do everything. I paid my money to spend 150 gems on the cashier. You finish another 10 levels or so and then reach a new part of the city. Guess what…? Want a cashier? You have to pay for her AGAIN! If I spend my real money on a cashier, security guard, and a larger shopping cart… THEY SHOULD CARRY OVER!!! I wasted money on upgrades and should be able to keep what I buy, not have all the progress reset with each new part of the city. I ended up deleting the game. I can’t waste my own money on a game that resets itself, it’s stupid and pointless. You literally cannot play without real life cash. And it’s not menial cash either. ASKING FOR £20.00 per LEVEL.
