I chewed through 300 Ukrainian verbs like they were popcorn. Must-have app. ### 5/5 — Much better than Quizlet *2014-09-14, version 2.7.1* Although Quizlet has an excellent user interface, what really matters for a language learner is what's under the hood. Supermemo's spaced repetition logarithm makes all the difference. The words I learn easily stop appearing in my daily stack so that I can focus on what doesn't stick readily. The program works best for me with my own content uploaded to the free website account. I've used it to study Spanish, French, German, Latin and history facts. There IS a learning curve to using the program and the developers really ought to produce some tutorials, but in this case the effort invested gives measurable results that are better than what I've experienced with any other method anywhere! ### 1/5 — Non-working poorly ported garbage - waste of $ *2014-07-18, version 2.7.1* I tried the $5 Spanish photos in-app purchase. What you get is a bunch of low rez screen shots of an old Windows program with to touch interface. Wasted half an hour trying to get the horrible clunky interface to make some sense with no luck. Worst "iOS" download I have tried since iOS 2 - thought junk like this didn't make it into the store anymore. ### 5/5 — Great for memorising my medical stuff *2014-06-09, version 2.7.1* It is very handy to have all of my questions available on the iPhone. I can memorise whenever I get 5 minutes. Supermemo ensures I only memorise what I am about to forget. Seems to work from what I can tell. Difficult to create content, so I do it on the PC and then import it. ### 5/5 — Great for language learners *2013-11-29, version 2.7.1* Using Español Extremo decks (basic and grammer) has greatly improved my Spanish. The recordings have been a great help and I use them most days, but can they be turned off when needed. ### 3/5 — Not as good as the Palm version *2013-11-14, version 2.7* I was user of the Palm version of super memo by Mapletop software. It was a very comprehensive flash card program and it used sophisticated methods to help you memorize words but the best part was you could create your own flashcards easily on your computer and then import them into super memo. Very long lists of words could easily be created and then imported it made it very nice you could create various categories for your words and I found it very useful. It seems as if there is no connection between the Palm SuperMemo and this iPhone or iOS SuperMemo and that seems to be a bit of a loss to me. Something should really be done or made more apparent by them to show us how to make long lists of words easily entered into this program. ### 5/5 — amazing *2013-08-13, version 2.6.1* the forgetting index and repeats (which can be controlled within the app settings) are what really make this app, and of course all versions of it, stand out. simple interface, trusted software and research. amazing for vocabulary, and any type of self-instated learning (less for classwork, since this would eventually be long term memory) ## Frequently asked questions about SuperMemo (old) ### What is SuperMemo (old)?
