Transferring files, new note templates, books, or anything else to the device is very easy. It is useful to be able to view documents from the device locally, but you can’t do much more than that in the partner app, at least for notes.

I wish the macOS version had options to hide the dock icon when the window isn’t shown, since it does put an icon in the menu bar. A few UI elements feel a little too much like they’ve been ported from the iPad app, but overall this works pretty seamlessly across Apple devices. ### 4/5 — Great but could use some polish. *2025-05-15, version 2.3.3* This app is beautiful. Really helps with this super note note taking experience. It just has a lot of little issues. Synching occasionally fails and there’s no loading bar. The app is missing some helpful tools present on the actual supernote. Starred notes aren’t searchable. Some key formats just aren’t viewable in the app. It’s really useful and I love how seamless most things are , it’s just those little things that hold it back. I wouldn’t have gotten the supernote without this app, and I absolutely love what it does to streamline the experience. ### 4/5 — The app does want it’s supposed to!!! *2025-02-17, version 2.2.15* I love the Supernote and the partner app is good. The tablet would be perfect if it had the Nook app. Not everyone is a Kindle user. I have ebooks from back when Wordpress and palm pilots were the best devices and those books ended up with B&N. But I also love that it doesn’t try to be all of my other devices. I want to be able to only do things on my Supernote - that’s why I bought it! I saw one user give a poor rating bc it doesn’t let you pick up on other devices where you left off on the Supernote. Must not have Microsoft Word! Love the app, keep up the good work Ratta!!! ### 2/5 — Make the app more remarkable like *2024-10-02* I think this app has a long way to go in order for it to be functionable. It seems like they have placed more capabilities around the todo app than working with your files. IF the app worked more like remarkable where you can access your files and work with them on multiple devices it would be fantastic. You cannot pick up where you left off in your notes on your Supernote but you can on the remarkable app. Also I think the interface could use some work for easily finding documents without having to go to separate system folders to find things. The remarkable does a great job with allowing the user to choose where documents are stored. ### 5/5 — WAY BETTER!! 🤩 *2024-10-01, version 2.1.0* With the new recent update (today is 10/1/2024) this app has been working PERFECTLY! I have had NO problems whatsoever with this app. It never crashes, I can import files into it with no problems at all, I had no issues connecting it to my super note and transferring files, and my super note has not had any problems syncing to the cloud and the app. When I first tried using the app about four years ago, it was definitely difficult to use…. But not anymore! 😃 I’ve always loved my super note, but now that the app works great I’m just so much more happy about owning one 👍🏼 ### 5/5 — Great Updates *2024-09-22, version 2.1.0* Since getting my Nomad this year, I’ve only used the SN Partner app. It has been absolutely wonderful! Very easy and fast to sync notes and upload templates. I don’t have questions on where each file is going because it is mirrored in the SN. Another reviewer said to ignore older reviews - do this! The developers have put in a lot of work and effort into streamlining the usability of the app and it is definitely not the same as it was a couple of years ago. ### 5/5 — So far it's amazing *2024-08-22, version 2.1.0* My supernote nomad tablet just arrived, and i love it. This app allows new to sync files and TODO lists between phone and that supernote tablet. Overall simplistic and snappy design. Very up to date app that now offers auto-sync and a elementary task list that is still under improvement. It is snappy and works great with their Supernote devices (e.g. supernote linking is a really nice touch, the auto sync feature works well so far, and the todo sync is also very quick). I suggest not concerning yourself with the previous app reviews. Get the Supernote device and this app! I came from a Kindle Scribe and this is a game changer. The file system is literally useless, as it doesn’t sync at all with the files on my Supernote. We are simply dealing with SMALL not files here and this app cannot even open them. It’s just amazing how we spend hundreds of dollars on this product and you can’t open up your notes on your phone. You notes won’t open on their Cloud using g a Mac and Safari (you receive a “converting” message). Come on Ratta team! This is UNACCEPTABLE! Why does viewing notes across devices have to be so difficult. About to stop using the device entirely. With Boox the web transfer is confusing and unreliable, with iFLYTEK the device doesn’t connect via USB properly… It’s one thing or another. So this app just working, making it simple to transfer documents en masse to the folder you want without any need for further organisation back on the device… Being able to cut and paste text from my Mac reliably without it being a pain… And now being able to organise digests… It just makes the whole experience what it should be. The thing with e-ink devices, because they’re niche, because they’re aren’t as responsive or integrated just by virtue of the screen hardware, they NEED to reduce friction in other ways for them to feel smooth, usable and seamless. No one does this as well as Ratta with their Supernote devices and software. In fact they’re the only ones I’ve found who do it well at all! Now if they could just automate PDF export backups to the cloud… ### 5/5 — Super Impressed! *2026-05-22, version 2.5.24* I am loving the entire ecosystem supernote has built and that too subscription free! They keep updating and adding so many things and actuallt listen to their community feedback. The app works really well. Never had any sync issues across my device. Makes everything super easy.
