### 2/5 — Killing my battery

*2024-01-30, version 3.1.3*

It’s regressing!

### 1/5 — Can’t link Garmin anymore, poor experience

*2024-01-10*

The app crashes, the sensor stops reading, lost a few sensors due to bugs and customer service is poor.
There is no updates on the app and communication with customers even on discord mentioning that they are interested in fixing the know issues.
It used to work nicely, nowadays seems that there is no care about bugs and customer experience overall.
I like the product, like the concept, been using it for 2 years now and unfortunately I had to take the time to complaint here as it has been super disappointing.

### 2/5 — Buggy app

*2024-01-03, version 3.1.2*

App crashes constantly while adding events. Desperately needs an update

### 1/5 — Supersapiens app freezes and crashes

*2023-11-20*

I want this app to work and be fun to use. But mine freezes daily, routinely forgets input just after I type it in, and it sometimes crashes. Entering macronutrients is also not made easy, a good app would let you enter what you ate and calculate the macros for you. I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place. If I did not want the Glucose data so badly, I would bail out immediately. Using iOS 17.1.1 on iPhone 12 with karge memory.

### 2/5 — Great device terrible app

*2023-10-18, version 3.1.1*

The product is great. Amazing gains to be made and things to be learnt, but the app is incredibly frustrating. Entering meal/sleep/training information often needs to be done multiple times and even then it just disappears. App often freezes and generally is not that user friendly. That really needs to be fixed at the price. I haven’t yet figured out how to export data to training peaks either in a simple way. Does it even do this?

### 1/5 — Super-buggy app

*2023-05-29, version 3.0.2*

Lots don’t work on this. (1) the tutorials are old, and you constantly get a pop up to ask you to sign up for a “full guide”. Even when you do that it keeps popping up. (2) the integrations are flakey. Times are wrong and you can only edit if from AppleHealth. Any others are fixed. (3) try adding tags to an event. Each time you write them in, press done, the disappear! Again and again, then suddenly work. The link between the email you used to order or subscribe, and the one for the app isn’t clear. Do you need the same or not? The links on the website to your account don’t work if you’ve not got the same - but don’t work anyway either. Overall, this has had a total lack of recent investment to make it work, leading to a very annoying user experience which means you don’t bother tagging events, importing exercise to look at stats, and so only use the sensor readings. In which case, very little value add from SuperSapiens above any other off the shelf sensor you can buy from Libre.

### 3/5 — Subpar App

*2023-04-11, version 3.0.2*

- Keywords / hashtags are buggy and unintuitive: Need to enter a tag several times until it “sticks”
- No Apple watch apps or complications
- No widgets
- No options to export data
- Genuinely only useful feature is that it seems to display your current glucose level accurately

### 2/5 — Bad quality of app and service

*2023-03-29, version 3.0.2*

The app freezes an average of a groove per day. After a reboot, it loses contact with the sensor and needs to be registered again. All data for the freeze period is lost.

### 2/5 — Bug that’s means I have to restart app

*2023-02-26, version 3.0.2*

Can you please fix the bug that means it has to be restarted to complete logging a reason for a rush. It works fine for 24-36 hours and then gives up letting you log a reason.

### 5/5 — Updated review

*2023-02-25, version 3.0.2*

Supersapiens help desk got back to me and I have given the app a better rating now the data field is finally useable on my garmin edge. It was not enough to simply have the latest iOS, Supersapiens, and Garmin apps installed. I needed to delete and reinstall Garmin connect and Garmin iQ before the data field would show real time glucose levels. The Supersapiens app is much better suited to monitoring blood glucose during activities than the manufacturers Abbot Libre app. It’s intuitive and interpreted along with Garmin data it gives great insights into glucose control.
