The newest update changed the new song mission rewards from diamonds to profile and wallpaper selectors. This reward is not worth it compared to the amount of diamonds you would receive before. These types of missions are one of the only ways to get diamonds for free, and without it there is not a reliable way to make enough each week for new themes. As a player who has played since release, I have most of the achievements done, so getting diamonds through achievements is not a feasible option.
