## What is SuperWorld Map?

SuperWorld turns the real world into a map you explore with other people.

Find places worth going to
Open the map and see what people actually recommend near you — cafés, bars, museums, parks, viewpoints — with real photos and the faces of the people who vouched for them. Every place carries what people say about it: the cooking, the ambiance, whether it suits a date or a crowd, roughly what you will spend. Check in when you get there, save the ones you want to come back to, and leave a note for whoever shows up next.

Share where you are
Post photos and video pinned to the exact spot they happened. Your posts live on the map, not in a feed that forgets them, so anyone standing in the same place can find what you left behind.

Follow a feed that knows where you are
A home feed of recommendations, check-ins and posts from the people you follow, with a Nearby view for what is happening around you right now. Like, comment and recommend without leaving the card.

Own a piece of it
Every place on Earth is divided into plots you can buy, collect and trade. Own the block you live on, the café you love, or somewhere you have never been.

Talk to the people there
City chats connect you to everyone in the place you are visiting. Join before you arrive, ask what is worth doing, and meet people once you land. Activities put something on the calendar — a coffee, a rooftop, a run — and fill it from the map.

Ask the map anything
SuperWorld AI answers questions about wherever you are pointing: what to eat, what is open, what is worth the walk.

Also inside
• Worlds — themed collections of places, built by you or by anyone
• Apps that run on the map, built by the community
• Rewards, daily streaks and a leaderboard as you explore

SuperWorld is free to download. Location is used to show what is near you and to verify check-ins; you can turn Explore Mode off at any time.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.10 — 2026-09-10

A release about links that work, and a map you can read.

Shared links
Tap a link to a post, a recommendation, a property, a world or a profile and
you land on that exact thing — the map flies to it and its card opens, instead
of dropping you on a blank map somewhere else. A shared activity now opens a
join sheet, so you can see the plan, the host and who is already going before
you decide. Opening one link while another is still on screen closes the old
one instead of stacking them.

Tagging in chat
Type @ and the suggestions appear straight away — people in the room, plus
places and cities — and narrow as you keep typing. Previously nothing appeared
until you typed a space, and the list ignored what you had typed.

The map
Recommendation pins show their star again, the creator’s photo sits on top of
the pin rather than under it, and pins dropped in the same spot stack into one
with a count instead of hiding each other. Worlds gained an Activities tab
next to Recommendations and Posts.

Smaller things
Following someone updates their follower count straight away, and the button
stops shouting once you have. Share on a world opens the share sheet. Group
hosts get the controls the website has. The chat composer rises with the
keyboard instead of after it, and a pasted link is tappable in DMs as well as
rooms.

### 1.2.9 — 2026-09-08

A big release for chat, the map and anything involving the keyboard.

Chat and activities
The activity filters now show only the categories that actually have something
happening near you, each with a count, so you are never tapping a pill that
leads nowhere. They also step aside while the chat panel is open and come back
when you collapse it. Read receipts show again — one tick for sent, two for
read. An activity with no description no longer says “No description”. You can
add an activity to a world, and an “Anytime” activity stops expiring the same
night.

The map
Super Citizens rides along with every filter — Recs, Posts, People and Worlds —
instead of only People, and you can filter that list by age, country, language
and interests. Tapping someone in the People rail opens their card over the map
rather than taking you to a new screen. Freshly uploaded posts carry a red NEW!
pill. Place details and photos are cached, so places you have already seen open
straight away.

Profiles and the leaderboard
The leaderboard’s collection card now lists the places behind a ranking, with
photo pins and the person’s avatar on each. Top Posts and Top Plots work.
Opening someone from a ranking, a list or the map shows their card over what
you were reading, and opening one of their recommendations now brings that card
to the front instead of leaving it behind the leaderboard. The nationality flag
sits properly in its badge.

The keyboard
The search bars on Map and Properties lift above the keys instead of hiding
behind them, the chat composer no longer strands itself mid-screen after you
back out, the fields at the bottom of Edit Profile scroll into view when you
tap them, and the sign-in card sits against the keyboard rather than floating
far above it.

Notifications
Android now actually asks. The permission prompt could never appear there
before, and if you skip it, it comes back later rather than never.

### 1.2.8 — 2026-09-03

This one is almost entirely fixes, and several are things that had been quietly
failing for a while.

Recommendations
Photos you attach to a recommendation now save and appear — before, a lot of
them silently never made it, and the place ended up with no picture at all.
Tapping a place on the map opens its full card again: who recommended it, their
tags, the address and the counts. Recommending a restaurant offers the food
tags — cuisine, price, cooking, service — which had gone missing on every
place. And you can now see when someone you follow has recommended somewhere.

Photos
The photo you attach is shown whole instead of being cropped to fit. Feed
images load reliably. You can attach a photo to a comment anywhere — a venue,
a post or a reply — and image comments actually upload now.

Chat
Typing "@" lists everyone in the room, so you can mention people without
guessing their name first. The Chat tab stays on Chat. Discover shows the city
chats you can already see on the map.

Map
AI suggestions drop a pin for every result, and tapping one opens the right
place. They clear when you move to another tab. The time and battery are
readable again over the map, and apps you open no longer keep playing audio
after you have left them.

Profile and worlds
Following someone works — it had been doing nothing at all. Trips save and show
up where you added them. Edit World is a proper form, and searching for your
city returns cities rather than nearby shops.

### 1.2.7 — 2026-09-02

Messaging, recommendations and posting all got sharper this release.

Messages
One inbox for every conversation. DMs open with the right name, the composer stays put above the keyboard, and picking an @mention no longer crashes the app. Tap anyone's avatar in a group to open their profile.

Recommendations
A place's comments now show its address and what people say about it — the venue's tags, folded across everyone who recommended it. Comment counts stay accurate as you go.

Home feed
Star and share work. Multi-image posts show 1/4 and dots so you know there is more to swipe. Venue cards carry a stats strip between the photo and the tags.

Creating
Create World is a proper step-by-step wizard. The recommend flow handles the keyboard properly and photo uploads land every time.

Map and Explore
Explore Mode explains itself before asking for location instead of failing. Search results inside embedded maps scroll. Notifications open the post on the map where it happened.

### 1.2.6 — 2026-06-10

Scratch Map feature introduced into the app.
