## Most critical reviews (9 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not free

*2026-06-15*

Searches claim that the app is free, but after answering multiple questions you have to pick a payment plan. Waste of my time and the prices are unreasonable

### 1/5 — Not impressed

*2026-06-14*

In theory this would be great but I kept getting server error and could not load a single supplement. Go back to the drawing board and make it work.

**Developer response:** Hi, would you mind sending an email to support@supex.app? That way, we will take a look at the issue and get it sorted out for you.

### 1/5 — NOT FREE

*2026-05-09*

Advertised free and then after a long quiz demanded subscription to begin.

The contents of this app are dishonest, I wouldn’t trust it to tell me the truth about supplements.

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for the feedback. Supex is free to download, but full analysis features may require a subscription or free trial. We’re sorry if that wasn’t clear enough and will review the onboarding to make pricing more transparent. Supex is designed to provide independent supplement analysis, and we take accuracy and trust seriously.

### 1/5 — Data mining and financially motivated

*2026-05-07*

They literally make u scan ur fingerprint to be able to access the app.
They make u take a survey asking a whole bunch for irrelevant personal questions to then sell.
They will only promote brands that pay them.
Do not download this app. U can just google the supplements h want to look up.

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for your feedback. We want to clarify a few important points: Supex does not collect, access, store, or sell fingerprint data. Biometric authentication, if enabled on your device, is handled securely by iOS and apps do not receive your fingerprint data.

We also do not sell personal survey answers, and we do not get paid by supplement brands to promote them. Supex is designed as an independent supplement analysis tool to help users better understand products, ingredients, benefits, and risks.

If anything in the app felt unclear or misleading, please contact us so we can review it and improve the experience.

### 1/5 — Long Unskippable Rant, Survey, and Commitment

*2026-04-14*

I had this app downloaded for all of about 5 minutes before uninstalling it. It went on a long unskippable rant about how vitamins aren’t approved by the FDA and a non-optional survey about my name, age, and sex and if I would switch a science based alternative if I had one. Then it brought me to a screen with a fingerprint in a blue circle that said “I, [name], will use Supex to improve the quality of taking supplements and be a healthier [blue fingerprint circle here] Tap and hold the circle to commit”. I was frankly disgusted by the long unskippable rant. It seemed like they were trying to get me to commit to some supplement they were marketing despite ranting about how all of their competitors’ supplements don’t work. Maybe it got better after that, but I had my full patience used up by the long unskippable rant/survey, so I’m done with this app. I’m uninstalling it and will never install it again. I would highly not recommend.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry that the onboarding experience felt too long and frustrating. The survey and commitment step are intended to personalize the app and help users build healthier habits, not to pressure anyone. We appreciate your comments and will take them into account as we continue improving the experience, including making onboarding clearer and more flexible.

### 1/5 — Not free

*2026-03-14*

Not worth the time

**Developer response:** We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed. We understand your frustration and appreciate your feedback. We do not partner with supplement manufacturers, and our reviews are fully independent. To keep improving the app and offering deeper insights, we provide optional paid features. This allows us to continue creating independent reviews and analysis. Thank you for your understanding.

### 2/5 — Did not give me the sale price of the app!

*2026-03-14*

Did not give me the sale price of the app! So I was overcharged so I have not used the app itself yet. Just upset.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry for the confusion with the sale price. Pricing and charges are processed by the App Store, but we’d be happy to help review the issue. Please contact our support team with your purchase receipt, and we’ll guide you through the next steps, including how to request a refund or billing adjustment if needed.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-03-06*

Love this app just what I needed for tracking everything

### 5/5 — Finally!

*2026-03-06*
