## What is Supperbook?

Supperbook is a private recipe box, meal calendar, and shopping list that keeps your kitchen plans together without a Supperbook account or subscription.

Save and edit recipes, scale servings, add cooking notes, organize favorites and folders, and find meals that fit the time you have. Plan a week or full month, then send recipe ingredients to a checkable shopping list. Plan which stores to visit, assign items to each stop, and shop aisle by aisle. Cooking mode can keep the screen awake while you work.

Your kitchen is saved locally first. On a new iPhone or iPad install, private iCloud sync starts automatically when an iCloud account is available and can copy supported recipes, plans, shopping data, and bounded recipe files between devices using the same Apple Account. Turning sync off keeps the local copy. Supperbook has no advertising, analytics, GPT dependency, or developer-operated server. Link imports use the internet only when you ask Supperbook to retrieve a public recipe page. Photo recipe scanning is processed on device. Create a backup or share a recipe collection only when you choose.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-11

Supperbook’s biggest update yet makes importing and keeping your kitchen current much more dependable. Recipe imports now recover more ingredients, quantities, method details, oven temperatures, and cooking times from websites. Social imports can combine a link, pasted caption, screenshot or on-device scan, and your notes while preserving the untouched original. Before saving, Supperbook clearly shows what it found and flags missing quantities, vague steps, or incomplete heat and timing details. Reusable local correction rules can also clean up recurring import quirks.

This release adds more resilient private iCloud sync for supported kitchen data on devices using the same Apple Account, stronger local-save recovery, improved photo scanning, and better barcode focus and zoom controls. Full-month and agenda planning are easier to move through, shopping can follow your chosen store’s aisle order, and collapsible page and aisle sections make long lists faster to navigate. Cooking mode includes clearer timing, notes, checklists, serving controls, and Keep Awake. A refreshed kitchen guide, customizable colors, larger text, high-contrast display, and reduced-motion controls make the app easier for the whole family to use.
