There is a contact tab, but every attempt to use it gives me a server error. I download the app assuming I could use it to get product details off of a barcode, however, after attempting to scan more than a dozen barcodes, it did not recognize a single one. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time *2022-12-15, version 3.3* Scanner over 15 supplements I have. The app is wonderful and super easy to navigate. Constantly updated products, links to more reviews, news articles, YouTube videos, and more. Each ingredient is broken down for its purpose and many times (when research backed findings show) the efficacious dosages BEYOND THE APP You’ll gain access to a private and amazing Facebook group. This group is filled with enthusiastic consumers, physical and online retailers, formulators, and more brand representatives. The collaborated hive mind is more than a group but a community. If you’re a brand owner, retailer, or consumer you are going to add an incredible value to your life. ### 5/5 — You NEED this. *2020-05-10, version 3.1* This app is phenomenal, I am a firm believer in knowing what you put into your body. Justin and his team put together an extensive list of supplements and a break down of EVERY single ingredient. Alongside with this app is a paid subscription that gives you access to the best supplement family ever full of knowledge and fun. Along with more perks in the app. If you’re on the fence about this app and the subscription JUST DO IT. ### 5/5 — You’re subscribed to tinder? *2020-02-26, version 3.1* Let’s be honest here. You think $19.99/monthly is expensive for something you might believe you can “just google”. This is the furthest thing from the truth. You get access to vital information about the many different compounds/substances that you are INGESTING. This is far kore important than those “super likes” you spend money on your favorite dating app. Save yourself the awkward dates and potential stage 5 clingers and use that money to gain access to the greatest minds in the supplement industry. You CAN’T google a community that will go out of their way to analyze and explain to you how the many different supplements on the market will aid you in reaching your end goals. Invest your money wisely and avoid the random with daddy issues you just swiped right on. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work! *2020-02-24, version 3.1* If this app can’t even provide info for Karbolyn or Promasil which are both *very* popular then either the app is collecting email and phone numbers it’s it not programmed properly. I used the scanner feature and two popular items sold everywhere their database can’t find...lol, yeah ok! ### 5/5 — App & group to support lifestyle and healthy habits *2020-02-22, version 3.1* This app has been an amazing step forward in my new health journey. Not only do I have access to an Incredibly user friendly app to get unbiased information in a sea of misinformation that is the supplement industry. Also, the Fb group of what has now become extended brothers and sisters is a whole other level of support, sharing of knowledge, and life events. When people learn to shift from the mindset of everything should be free to a mindset of how can this provide value to my life, then you realize the small monthly subscription fee is really not a big deal. Positive mindset, positive experiences, and positive changes in life are worth this subscription and support. Kept obtaining cryptic errors. If you can’t even get a log in to work correctly I wouldn’t be very confident with anything else.. ### 1/5 — Tech issues *2024-04-13, version 3.3* My mom and I each downloaded this app but got caught in an endless loop when we tried to “Log in with Apple” and “Log in with Google” and when we each tried to create accounts to log in we got an error message that read “Registration Failed: JSON could not be serialized because of error”. I was really looking forward to checking out this app, hopefully the issue will be fixed soon. ### 1/5 — Didn’t work for me *2023-11-09* The bar code scanner did not recognise the bar code on any products I tried which was around 6 from 4 different manufacturers. No products I own appeared in the search. I’ve used every email I had and it still won’t work. ### 1/5 — Cycling without connecting *2023-08-28, version 3.3* Thought it sounded great, but it didn’t work. ### 1/5 — Barcode Scanner Inop *2023-08-07, version 3.3* I read a few reviews and saw it has a subscription price, which prepared me to be amenable to that. Once I opened the app, I saw the barcode scanner. So I retrieved several bottles of current supplements I take and attempted to scan their barcodes. The scanner did not work on any of them. Then I looked at their database of supplements and saw the option to sign up for the subscription which showed the monthly subscription fee which is pretty steep IMO. There was also an option to go without the subscription that had a tacky note about preferring to waste my time. Well the inop barcode scanner along with an attempt to contact support which displayed an error message already wasted plenty of my time, so I deleted this waste of time app. If it would have all worked smoothly, I might have went for their almost twenty dollars a month subscription fee, but no thanks with the two strikes right off the bat. So I deleted the app concluding its not worth it at any price even free. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great app. helpful community *2020-11-30, version 3.3* This is a pay-app with plenty of information that is useful to anyone who takes sports nutrition supplements Seriously. When you consider the community behind it is definitely worth the monthly cost, especially if you work within the sport nutrition industry. ### 5/5 — Invest in your health. *2020-11-18, version 3.3* This app had changed the way I see the supplement industry. So many information “sources” are pay to play and it’s almost impossible to get unbiased information about supplements. Pre, intra, post, general health ....the app has thousands of products with an ingredient by ingredient break down. BUT the real value is the access to so many people in the supplement industry. From CEOs all the way down; the insider group is where you really get to learn about what you are actually putting into your body. Justin and the whole team at SupplementSnoop has created a movement of transparency and honesty within the industry. Invest in yourself ! ### 5/5 — Justin Hall Is The Man *2020-11-02, version 3.3* I am writing this review mostly based on my experience with the Supplement Snoop Facebook group. Justin not only is a supplement god, he is a phenomenal person too. He is one to look up to and there are tons and tons of lessons to be learned from his leadership and the way he operates. He is a genuinely awesome person and I highly recommend watching his Q&As on Instagram, listening to his podcast appearances, and joining his tribe. He is the most informed and real person I have come across in the supplement industry and he has cultivated some amazing services for consumers and business owners. If you are on the fence, let me help you out and tell you that you should 100% download this app and join the Snoop Troopers. ### 5/5 — Supp Snoop App *2020-07-02, version 3.2* As a brand owner the most common question i get is “what does it do?” or “how does that compare” to xyz. This app is the perfect place for those who ask those sort of questions about supplements. The abilities to compare products in the app, see the breakdown of what ingredients do what and the Facebook group community to talk to us brand owners and other customers alike, you can’t put a price tag on it. So many supplements in this industry makes it difficult to keep up. It’s overwhelming. It’s almost comical how people are hating on it before even investing, even just 1 month to see the actual true value. They’re practically giving away so much knowledge. Knowledge about stuff you’re putting into your body. With the times right now especially, wouldn’t you want to know what you’re really doing to yourself? Never want to blindly put stuff into your body without educating yourself. This app and group have been an absolute savior and I am beyond grateful for the family and knowledge that comes with it! ### 5/5 — Snoop App *2020-05-13, version 3.1* I see a lot of reviews complaining about the subscription price but honestly in my experience it’s 100% worth it. The app it’s self is very useful in that you can get a breakdown on almost any supplement out there plus it can also help you find what you need through a questionnaire. To me this is just an added benefit, the best part though is the private Facebook group. In this group you’ll find yourself interacting with leaders with in supplement industry as well as very knowledge people in general when it comes to supplements. Plus there’s also reviews on products, giveaways, and at time even special coupon codes just for snoop group members. This app isn’t for everyone but if you’re serious about supplements and the industry itself I’d definitely recommend you give this a go. ### 5/5 — One of the best Apps for the Supplement/nutrition industry *2020-05-11, version 3.1* This app is one of the best one stop shop to learn so much doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or veteran to the supplement/nutrition game. The guys behind this app deserve such praise for the work they put in and continue to put in. If you are a consumer of products I highly recommend this app! ### 5/5 — Wealth of knowledge *2020-05-10, version 3.1* Rather you are new or a veteran to supplements, this app can teach you something. Not only learn about what products you want to but it breaks it down per ingredient and gives you an in depth explanation of each one. Read reviews and watch videos on whichever product you want to learn about. The subscription fee is a drop in the bucket you will save on not just blindly trying supplements. You can search for ingredients and get a list of products that include that ingredient. Try it and I promise it’ll be one of the best investments you can make for your health and progress. ### 5/5 — It’s not for everyone *2020-05-10, version 3.1* This app requires a subscription but you can follow him on IG where he gives a ton of info for free. If you want to research what you’re taking, this is the app to get! You can search products, Ingredients and such to get a layman’s explanation. The beauty of the subscription is really the Facebook community. I’d say “group” but it is way more than just. Group. It’s filled with brand owners, formulators, merchants, and anywhere in between.
