Odd UI and onboarding
The UI was really gross like an app from 2008

I am not your employee
My first buddy, though very nice, was not a match in age, or in her goals. At the end of seven days, the app has us rate one another. You know, like at the end of every customer service call. I will not pay money, to be rated. Apparently, every 7 days, you might get fired. There was an episode of The Black Mirror about a society built on individuals rating one another. I joined this program to share an accountability goal. I’m not sure if there are professional psychologists involved in developing this program, but if there are, they should know better!

I wanted to love this
Not impressed thus far. My first match messaged me one time, (and that was on day one) in five days. Now i’m waiting to get matched with someone else which has yet to happen.
If the whole point of this app is for accountability, which the user obviously already struggles with, then this isn’t very helpful. What is someone who struggles to stay disciplined to do on the weeks when they have a bad match (which they can’t know or do anything about for several days) and then it takes so much time to get rematched? I’ll tell you what they do- they continue on with bad habits because they don’t have anyone to hold them accountable. Looking at it from this view- it seems like the app is a fail to me.
Would love to be wrong but I may not find out- At this point I won’t renew after the two week trial.

Doesn’t work on devices with notch
Cannot use the app past the signup process, as the menu button is located in the area reserved for the notch and cameras
Unresponsive buddies
I was paying for nothing. Seven days without a buddy that would say anything.
