## What is Surdo AI?

Surdo AI is an AI-powered sign language assistant built for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community in Uzbekistan and for anyone learning Uzbek sign language.

RECOGNIZE — sign to text
Point the camera at yourself and sign. AI recognizes your gestures in real time and turns them into text.

VOICE — text and speech to sign
Type a phrase or speak into the microphone, and a 3D avatar performs it in sign language. Over 1,000 dictionary words and the full fingerspelling alphabet are supported.

LEARN — study sign language
Browse the sign dictionary by category, study the fingerspelling alphabet, watch every word performed by the 3D avatar or as an animated skeleton, track the words you have learned, and test yourself with quizzes.

Surdo AI bridges communication between hearing and deaf people. The interface is available in Uzbek and Russian.

Note: an internet connection is required for recognition and avatar rendering.
