Finally a reliable scanner to use with my iPhone! **Developer response:** Thank you! yes this app is being used in many custom design areas due to its high accuracy (0.5mm) and clean 3D data. There is a huge difference between back facing TrueDepth 3D scanner and front facing LiDAR 3D scanner. The former provides accuracy in the mm range while the later one in a few cm range. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Useless *2025-03-11* Resolution is simply atrocious. Everything turns into an amorphous blob. Flat surfaces become diamond plate rough. **Developer response:** Are you aware that you can change the scan resolution? We work hard to improve it further. ### 5/5 — Finally a scanner with great tracking *2022-12-21* I have played with many scanners, and one of the biggest issues is the fidelity the scanner has reconciling movement tracking an object. Often times, if you are not in a controlled situation, there are distortions and artifacts placed upon a scanned image as a result of poor tracking. This scanner allows for more leniency in your scanning motion around an object without the formation of artifacts on your scanned object. I am very happy having found this scanner, and that it allows output in multiple formats. **Developer response:** Thank you!
