### 1/5 — Update broke the system

*2022-08-28, version 3.0.10*

The update on 8/24/2022 causes the app to crash. Also my account is now deleted. Great job programmers. (Sarc)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t save test results

*2022-08-01, version 3.0.9*

How do you save a report in the
iPhone app. There’s a test history page but no way that I can figure out to save a report. If you back out of the newly generated report, it is gone. Help!

### 1/5 — Camera run does not work

*2021-09-02, version 2.9.3*

The attractiveness of this app is to be able to read the test with the camera and it does not work

### 1/5 — Time consuming

*2021-04-26, version 2.9.3*

Camera function does not work. Test strips are not accurate when compared to water analyzer at pool supply. Had to creat an account and put in all my info in 3 different places to find out that it is pretty much a waste of time.

### 1/5 — Do not recommend

*2020-08-27, version 2.90*

Camera feature in app does not work. Strips aren’t good quality either

### 1/5 — Useless

*2020-06-20, version 2.90*

Can’t use camera to read strips?!

### 1/5 — 7 way test with APP - waste of $$

*2020-06-11, version 2.90*

See a review from a year ago that camera and app are not compatible and that an enhancement was being worked on. Paid too much money for these to not have the phone reader ... what takes over a year and is still not fixed ?!?

### 1/5 — Not impressed

*2020-05-19, version 2.90*

I just ran 5 back to back tests. Chlorine test 1 was 3, next was 1 then .5. The other results weren’t picked up. I think I’ll stick to my eyes.

### 1/5 — Not going to make an account for this

*2019-11-09, version 2.90*

There’s no reason an app like this needs my info. Will look for other test strips.

### 1/5 — Camera update needed!

*2019-06-23, version 2.90*

I purchased the 7-way strips and now found out the camera update does not work. Please update camera app. Also, it only stores your last 10 tests in history.

### 1/5 — App shuts down

*2019-05-14, version 2.90*

App shuts down repeatedly at the 11 second countdown mark. Never makes it through the process.

### 1/5 — Phone number? Really?

*2018-03-21, version 2.90*

You need my phone number to register this app? So I can track my pool chemicals? Really? No thanks.

### 1/5 — Not even one star

*2015-05-11, version 2.2*

Really Bad app. But then I can't really can't tell cause I could not even get into the app.

### 1/5 — Big Disappointment

*2014-11-08, version 2.0*

There picture calibration is a joke. Tried multiple times with no luck. Might be operator error, but I don't see the "black dots" that should be around the perimeter if the box.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Waste of Time and Test Strips

*2024-02-08*

Never would give anything clear to accurate results. Tested pool water with industry leading liquid drop test kit (Taylor K-2006) and then immediately tested using test strips and this App. I could have sat inside, looked out at the water, and came up with more accurate results than this App. Examples include the pH reading of 7.5, while the App reported 7.0. The chlorine (free) was 2.4, while the App reported a level of 10. I will delete the App and continue using the liquid drop test kit. Believe the bad reviews.

### 1/5 — I wrote a review a month ago and it wasn’t published!

*2023-06-06*

Took the time to review this last month hoping once again for improvements. The fact that it still was not published speaks volumes. Now I’m doubting what used to be the best test kit. Shopping for alternative app AND test kit. What a shame. Used to be good. Bye Taylor! So disappointing!

### 1/5 — Not working at all

*2023-05-18*

Can’t login. Can’t reset password. Can’t enter any data. Non functional at this point. Deleted and re downloaded on App Store. Won’t work on iPad or iPhone.

### 1/5 — Zero Stars! Doesn’t work!

*2023-02-11, version 3.0.12*

I purchased my kit directly from Taylor and religiously used the app until they changed it and I was no longer able to. Asks me to create a new login and re-register every time and I still can’t get in! If I login and select “forgot password” it tells me a 6 digit code was sent but I never receive it. I even contact their support twice and they were not helpful. The old version worked fine. This is completely useless!

### 1/5 — What happened?

*2022-12-02, version 3.0.12*

This app used to work - well enough for me to balance my pool chemicals. My pool was out of commission for awhile, and when I just signed back into your app, it is just blank. Nothing.
I figured out how to contact customer service (NOT 877-test kit as it says in the app, but 800-test kit - why are they misdirecting us?!). Told them the issue. She acted as if she had never heard of this problem before. Clearly that is not true, after having read other reviews. She told me she would have somebody call me to help. I’m still waiting.
They don’t care about their customer? They’re not going to fix the app?! Guess we’ll just have to go somewhere else.

### 1/5 — App. crashed after latest update

*2022-11-12, version 3.0.11*

App. crashed after latest updates, no support, no data history, don’t use it, Taylor company suppose to stay behind the app

### 1/5 — App does NOT work

*2022-09-10, version 3.0.11*

Worthless app, can’t even get logged in anymore. When I could get logged in, test results would never save.

### 1/5 — No access/Can’t create a new account

*2022-09-02, version 3.0.10*

Previous version worked great. Since the update my account says it cannot be found or that the email password combination is incorrect. Unable to reset password because it will not email me the reset link. After being bounced around to multiple phone numbers, developer said that they were working on the problem and would help me get it fixed. It’s been over a week and I haven’t heard from them. Tried to create a new account with a new email and still cannot get in. If I could rate it zero stars I would!

### 1/5 — Just bad

*2022-08-31, version 3.0.10*

No customer support, app that crashes, not sure what happened but the app is completely useless at this point.

Horrible

### 1/5 — App stopped working

*2022-08-30, version 3.0.10*

The app use to work somehow, unfortunately after the last apple update the system crashed.
Very disappointed!!

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Better strip reading

*2022-03-24, version 3.0.9*

New version works better to read strip colors. Easy to get report about pool conditions.

### 5/5 — Great improvements

*2016-02-12, version 2.5*

The camera function works well now. Makes it easy and fun to test my water! It would be cool if there was an option to buy the pool treatments right from the app.

### 3/5 — Camera needs an update?

*2019-03-23, version 2.90*

This so should work with the 7-way strips, but when I tried to use them with the app, it suggested a camera update was needed. This app was last revised a year ago. Maybe it's time for another update?
The best thing for me is that it keeps a record of my readings, which I've taken manually with the test kit. I figured I'd use this as a comparison, especially since the Cyanuric acid test with that system is so subjective. I'll give an update once my "camera" is updated.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for your feedback! An update to the camera function of the app is currently being worked on by our development team and will be included in sureTREAT's future updates. We are happy to hear that sureTREAT has been helpful for your record keeping and hope you will continue to use Taylor's water test products!

### 2/5 — New Version doesn’t keep any history

*2022-08-25, version 3.0.10*

Previous version worked great. Why not do something different and bring back the previous version?
This new version is even worse. It forces you to re register and never lest you save the information. What worthless trash this is and what purpose does it serve if you can use it? Think I’m going to trash the kit and look for anything that works!

### 2/5 — Needs improvement

*2016-09-20, version 2.5*

On a positive note it's good for keeping a record of your tests and letting you know where you fall in the recommended test. For the homeowner you should be able to choose your chemicals from some of the more popular companies not service professional companies. Spa water should go to as high as 104 not 94. Spa surface needs to have acrylic as a choice. Need to have an edit feature so you can change the date of your sample and make notes of chemicals added and amount.

### 2/5 — Could be really cool

*2015-11-28, version 2.2*

Camera snaps pic before you are ready. Worthless as it is now, but could be really cool if a "take pic now" button is added so that it doesn't just auto snap the pic.
