But its missing crucial spot info you only find on the website. So besides having the premium app i have to lookup every spot on my browser. It could do with more locations to give information that is a bit more rich. I’d also say sometimes the waves get a lot bigger due to tides and currents and it pays to be really careful when basing a trip from the app information. It would be good if there were some features in there which showed this like “with currents up to 0.5m+” or something like that. Drove around to Callala Bay Beach as well but no luck there either. All forecasts should have resumed as normal on Monday. Thanks for using the app, and making us aware of the issue. ### 1/5 — Do not download this app!!!!!!! *2024-08-17* The weather, wind and surf prediction is ridiculous and far away from the real events. You could also ask a frog for his weather prediction and the accuracy would be the same. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. (help@surf-forecast.com) ### 1/5 — Hopeless - the breaks aren’t geo located *2024-06-20, version 1.9.1* The tags for the breaks show up as floating out at sea or on the land ### 1/5 — Forecast *2024-02-02, version 1.7.3* I have no idea where these forecasting applications gets there data from, as the information it provides is 90% inaccurate. Liters of fuel and precious time is wasted when one arrives at the location only to find the predicted 6 foot waves are 2 foot, with a 5 km/h wind, when it’s more like a 25 km/h wind. The tides are more or less constant, but every forecast is totally inaccurate. And then they charge monetary value for this inaccurate “service”. In the app no option to refresh and even when I logout and quit the app and then login back the data for today is still old. Surf-forecast and Surfline. Surf-forecast is by far my favorite. It’s way cheaper, easier to read, laid out better and it seems to be more accurate.
