## What is Surge Apartments?

Surge Apartments is the resident app for buildings managed on the Surge
platform. If your building runs on Surge, everything that used to mean a trip
to the management office — bills, bookings, visitor passes, maintenance — is
in your pocket instead.

BILLS WITHOUT THE QUEUE
• Every charge on your unit, itemised, with due dates on your building's own calendar.
• Pay by card in the app — payments are processed by PAYable, and Surge never sees or stores your card number.
• Payment history and receipts whenever you need them. If something is refunded, the bill says exactly how much came back.

MAINTENANCE THAT TALKS BACK
• Raise a request with photos in under a minute.
• Chat with the management office on the request itself — no lost phone calls.
• Track every request from reported to resolved.

AMENITIES, VISITORS AND PARCELS
• Book the gym, the pool or the hall in seconds. Slots follow your building's own opening hours and rules.
• Create a pass for every visitor, shown at the gate for a smooth check-in.
• Know the moment a parcel is waiting for you at the desk.

YOUR BUILDING, INFORMED
• Announcements and notices from your management, the moment they go up.
• Community events, house rules and building documents in one place.
• Manage your household — the people who live with you, registered to your unit.

MADE FOR SRI LANKA
• Sign in with your own mobile number — a one-time code by SMS, no password to remember.
• Amounts in rupees, dates and times on your building's clock.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Each building's data is isolated at the database level.
• Building staff see unit numbers, never residents' names.
• No ads, no tracking, and your data is never sold.

AN INVITATION IS YOUR KEY
Surge Apartments works by invitation. Your building's management invites you
to your unit, and your phone number is your identity — so only the people who
actually belong in your building can ever see it. If your building isn't on
Surge yet, ask your management committee to get in touch at surge.apartments.
