This app provides a dictionary of surnames and names with their meaning, origin and history. Its scope is broad: all surnames, names from all cultures (English, Spanish, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Irish, Indian, German, Greek, Latin etc.)  and periods are eligible to be included in the app. Names from mythology, fiction and bible are also included.

I like this app, however it needs to be updated. The last one was several years ago. It won't even open on my iPhone unless I delete then reinstall the app again.

I like the app but could you add more names. I can’t find my great grandma’s maiden name; Zimbro. And could you add a list of famous people with the last names.

Loved the app, but now it keeps crashing. Can't even use it. EDIT: Very fast response from developer. App works perfectly again!

**Developer response:** We have fixed the crash issue. Please uninstall the app completely and reinstall it again from Apple Store. Also make sure you have enough memory space.

I downloaded this, as per usual, and when it was completed, I attempted to open it, it pops up but then it disappears. I am not sure what is going wrong, but, you should beware!!!
