This time around, I redeemed it for the maximum of the $50 rewards card and I get have not received the card. I also sent them a message but they told me that the app has been updated and reroute my concerts. I received an automated response but I'm still waiting for the card if anybody out there knows how to connect with them easier to get this done sooner that would be great! ### 4/5 — Over all pretty good app r *2022-03-20, version 2.2.1* I’ve had the app for a while redeem a chic fil a card once , I was off the app for a while ( couple months ) without taking a survey and 47,345 points they took them COMPLETELY off I wrote them they did respond say I been inactive so once I take another survey they will return the points …… well it took forever for a survey to even pop up once it did I took it and sent them another message saying I completed a task a few days later they did return all the points so over all everything worked out . I also think I’m not getting nearly as much surveys as I once was. ### 4/5 — Legitimate app that pays *2021-12-04, version 2.2.1* I have used this app for years and they always pay. If it shows a gift card that you are eligible to claim then there is no doubt that you will get it when you cash out. The only negative is that when I first began using the app I got a lot more points for the surveys but now I get 100 points for each survey and it takes 25,000 points for a $25 gift card so it does take awhile. That being said, the surveys are fairly quick. If you do not respond to the survey fast enough it will disappear so make sure that you do them when you get home or settled for the day. ### 2/5 — Skip this app. You are worth more. *2021-05-26, version 2.2.0* Survey Mini is basically an app to review places you’ve visited. You have to leave location services on and as you go about your day, the app follows you and if you go to a place it wants to know about you’ll get a survey. They ask you a bunch of questions and at the end you review the location and you’re given 100 points or more (if you’re lucky)…. When you get 12,000 points you can cash out for a $10 giftcard. Yes. 12,000 points = $10! I’ve stuck around for 236 surveys. I think I cashed out twice. $20! This app isn’t worth your time. I don’t recommend it unless you really don’t mind devoting your time for very little pay. I cashed out for a $10 iTunes giftcard and I’m deleting the app. Also if you turn off location services or change it to “only while using the app” you won’t get any surveys. ### 4/5 — Fun app where they actually reward you *2021-04-10, version 2.2.0* I have had this app for probably more than 3 years. I like the app. Idk where the bad reviews are coming from but for me this app does exactly what it promises. I have gotten several gift cards that I have used and had no problem. I had one instance where I had to call customer service and they responded quickly and corrected the problem. You have to stick with it and rate places you have been regularly and yes it does take a while to receive a gift card but if you like doing reviews of places you have visited then you will eventually get rewarded for your input. No one has paid me to say anything. This is my true experience with the app. ### 2/5 — Stop the useless forced coupons nobody wants!!! *2020-12-28, version 2.2.0* Still applicable and annoying! Stop with useless coupons please I left a review today because I’m just tired of being forced to accept coupons instead of points... I answer almost all 99.9% of the surveys on my store experience and I’m always honest. Quite a few times now I just get forced to take a coupon and get no points 🤷‍♀️ frankly I never shop any of the locations coupons are offered for but when I have in the past I order online, or delivery. Years ago we had an option for the most part, two coupons or points. Out of my last 5 surveys 4 were coupons... so I just swiped out the whole app. Can we get this removed or stopped? It’s just frustrating when you don’t want coupons. ### 4/5 — 3 Wonderful Years *2020-08-17, version 2.1.0* We’ve had our ups and downs (mostly ups) and this app has always been extremely easy to use. All (or a majority) of the surveys take less than two minutes. I have been able to, in my opinion, quickly earn points towards gift cards. I decided I’m going for the $75 gift card at 71,000 pts. However, I went to check my progress today as it had been a long time and this gift card specifically seems to have been removed as an option. I was wondering if this may be a bug or if it was actually removed from the store? Either way, it’s a great app and when I had any problems their customer support was flawless and helpful and kind. I plan on using this app until I can’t anymore as it’s too easy to make a little side cash this way. ### 3/5 — Vendors do not accept their coupons *2020-08-02, version 2.1.0* I made it to enough to get $10 off on jiffy lube and they would not accept it. And also the app wouldn’t let me reverse it. I called SurveyMini customer service and they pretty much told me it was my problem and I had to get in touch with jiffy lube if I wanted to dispute it. On the other hand seeing it didn’t cost me any but my time I just quit using the app for the coupons. Plus it takes a long time to get enough points for anything good. But over all I do like it...but you just have to be patient. ### 3/5 — HAD Great gift cards *2019-10-04, version 2.0.0* They used the have great gift cards but they took away the only 2 that were useful to me. I used this app the make extra money for important things like groceries or bills. They took away the Kroger gift card and the Visa or MasterCard gift card. Please bring these back or offer a paypal transfer please! Apps like these are designed for people to make extra money. I’m a single mother and live on a set income so I depend on apps like these to help me buy food to feed my kid. Hopefully y’all can bring something back more useful to every day living. Thank you for being a great app. ### 4/5 — Great App To Get Free Gift Cards Or Money *2019-09-01, version 1.10.6* I have had this app for a really long time and I just love it. All you do is make sure your location for app is turned on. Then when you shop it will send you surveys for stores you shopped at. All you have to do is answer the question truthfully and you get rewarded with points. Once you get so many points you can claim your prize. I have claimed a $25 iTunes card and also used a few coupons it sends me for different stores I can chose from a list of them where to go and use it. I only gave them 4 stars because I am on the road a lot traveling here and there. I feel like sometimes I get a lot of surveys other times I don’t. Not sure why that is. If you looking for a easy way to make extra money on s gift card this is the app for you. It takes some time to get the points but stick with it and it’s well worth it in the end. Thanks, Tim Metcalf Oak Harbor,OH ### 1/5 — Don’t bother *2019-06-30, version 1.10.6* When I first downloaded the app it seemed to have enough surveys to make sense, and I figured it wouldn’t be impossible to earn enough points to qualify for a redemption, but I was wrong. I was able to earn, and waste my time with, about 2/3 of what I needed to cash in. The first tier of rewards aren’t really rewards at all actually, they’re discounts for maybe 5 places I’ve heard of (BOGO or free drink with purchase etc). I’ve had this app installed for maybe 6 months and I’ve had no available surveys I could choose to take in like 3 months now. Without enough points to redeem anything and no way to earn points, it seems to me like I wasted my time taking their initial surveys to begin with. Not only that, but if I do happen to open the app on my phone, even if I close it, this app still lingers in the background using my background until I force quit it. I’m not sure why they would need my location if they don’t care to know much of anything else about me except the questions I may have answered when I first signed up. I would definitely not recommend this app. It really is a waste of space on my phone. ### 4/5 — A pretty good app. *2019-05-06, version 1.10.6* I like this app. Free gift cards and coupons for less than a minute of your time works for me! Sure, you have to do about a hundred surveys to get anything of any meaningful amount, but why not? The surveys are short and to the point, just the way I like them. I’ve received 3 Murphy USA, 1 Olive Garden/Darden, and a Ruby Tuesday gift card since getting the app about 5 years ago totaling $125. I wish they would give the option of a physical mailed gift card over an e-gift card though. I like having a physical gift card I can stick in my wallet, as opposed to something I have to print out or show on my phone. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Does not honor rewards *2022-12-25, version 2.2.1* I’ve had this app 2-3 years now and recently tried to redeem my rewards for a gift card. I never received the reward via email. (Yes I checked spam and junk folders. ) I contacted them for support. They have contes Ted their support to a third party company who required me to create an account just to communicate with them. They must have been foreign because their English was very bad. They told me they resent my reward. Again, it was never received. I contacted them again. They resent it AGAIN. I did get this email from them. But when I opened the reward certificate it was no good. It said it has expired? This all occurred within the same month so it should not have expired. Then I got a message telling me to delete the app because they were no longer going to be an app with Apple. Yet, I still find them in the App Store. Interesting. I would ask Apple to investigate this company. I’ve spent months doing surveys for them for nothing that was promised. ### 1/5 — Not a good app *2021-11-17, version 2.2.1* This app is only good in certain areas horrible because I already leave my reviews on platforms where I guess it matters. This app should give options because I am one that shops all the time all over leaving useful reviews for people whether it locally or internationally, or in other parts of the country. One example is my last road trip , which me and husband found tired some because the drive was beautiful but quick road trips are not what they used to be, anyway I dropped my daughter in Alabama for school and we set off for New Orleans and omg photos of sky were priceless but doing a drop off and going on wore us out. Any who best food I’ve had in New Orleans is Old Nola Cookery. We tried the crab cakes and Cajun duck with the crawfish and he had gumbo, needless to say best part about road trip, to die for for can road trip too ate there the whole time and the grilled oysters from the gulf, I have been to multiple places and have not been able to replicate them and yes they road tripped home too. I said all that to say this, expand your local use in cities with places we are nearby because more than likely we’ve been there and can give feedback I don’t know if you need today or just an overall experience be open to change, thanx. ### 1/5 — Support Is Nonexistent *2021-06-06, version 2.2.0* The support system has changed. I have written at least 6 messages to them without a response. My app is updated and I submitted my inquiry via the app. I even tried to piggyback off of an old reply that they sent to me in 2019 just to get my question answered after months of not receiving a response. I received an auto response telling me that the box is unmanned and to submit my inquiry via the app and to ensure that I was using the latest version. I have done this now many times and I am using the latest version. I only had one question. I wanted to know if the Apple / iTunes gift card listed for redemption has been converted to the new Apple Gift card - that has the ability to be used for everything. It took me years to accumulate 48,000 points and I want to redeem it for the Apple Card only if it is the new card. I don’t know if they have the new card in stock for the $50 value cards or still using the ok’d iTunes cards. No one has replied back to me. It has been months since I initially asked. I have no way of knowing if I will even receive a gift card if I can ever get my question answered and I have no faith in them for resolving an issue at this point. I am now thinking that I may have wasted my time for years now in doing these surveys. ### 1/5 — Used to be good, no customer support *2021-03-27, version 2.2.0* If Only I could give this app zero stars...Don’t waste your time. This app used to be great, I have redeemed gift cards several times over the past few years. Around December of 2020, I redeemed my points for a $25 Kohls gift card. I tried to use it online and in store, and it came up as invalid each time. I reached out to customer service, and while they had no explanation as to why it wouldn’t work, they refunded my points back to the app. Thinking it was just a glitch, I redeemed the points again for another gift card from Kohl’s. Same thing, only this time customer service never responded. I’ve checked my spam and no reply. And I agree with another reviewer, when they won’t offer you points, the options are worthless. Too bad because this used to be great. ### 1/5 — This app might be great if you live in a bigger city. *2020-08-21, version 2.1.0* I live in a small town and don’t get many survey opportunities because of that. I had been saving up my points to get a bigger gift card over the course of a year+. I recently had filled my old phone and uninstalled survey mini to free up space until I upgraded. When I did and start using the app on my new phone I had lost all my points on my account. I assume the drop off after a certain amount of time, which would have been nice to get an email reminder of before they were cleared. I haven’t been able to contact support the link on their website doesn’t work and there’s no option to message the fb account they provided. So here I am, disappointed and will be deleting the app. ### 1/5 — At the moment, the rewards are MISSING *2020-08-03, version 2.1.0* I’ve been using Survey Mini for quite some years now and more or less every other month or so I would cash in my points after patiently taking surveys just to get some gift cards. But at the moment, for any of those who may want to download the app, there aren’t any ways to redeem your points that are exactly gift cards. Usually you can get $10 all the way up to $50 dollar gift cards and now that I have worked hard to save al my points from taking surveys for months now, I can’t redeem my points for the gift card. I am very disappointed and may not use this app every again if I do not see any gift card options appear. ### 1/5 — Bad Customer Service! *2020-01-31, version 2.0.0* We’ve been trying to change our emails in the app, because we got new emails. It won’t update, and we have emailed Survey Mini many times with NO REPLY from them. My wife is trying to redeem her points for a Olive Garden Card, so she needs to have her new email updated, so that she receives the card via email. Survey Mini has NO phone service only email, so it’s up to them when they want to email you back if they even do. We’ve been waiting for 3 days now for a reply on how we can update our email, because the app won’t update them. Still waiting after weeks!!!! I would give 0 stars if possible. UGHH!!!! 😡 ### 1/5 — Support /Customer Service *2019-12-18, version 2.0.0* I recently changed my email and have been trying for over a week to change it in the Survey Mini site. Each time I receive an error and saying try later. I have emailed Support 3 times now notifying them of my email change. I have not received an answer to any of my inquiries. Either they are ignoring me or they are replying to the old email. I no longer have access to the old email. I am emailing them from my new address and asking them to update my old address. No such luck. My old email is still on my account. I cannot redeem my points until I get this straightened out. And I cannot get any help to straighten this out!!! ### 1/5 — Horrible customer service. DO NOT DOWNLOAD *2019-09-05, version 1.10.6* Had this app for years and used it with no complaints. Received push notification a few days ago that said I had two new surveys to complete. Okay, cool. I open the app to complete them and I immediately noticed that my points were missing. I was holding onto them so I could redeem a gift card. I did some investigating thinking maybe points expire, but nope - I was hacked. There was another email address in the app and all the points were obviously stolen by someone else. I changed the email address and went looking for someway to contact them to let them know what happened. Finally found an email address and sent an email asking for help and the restoration of my points. It’s been crickets ever since. No reply. Nothing. They have no phone number to contact them and I don’t know what to do. I’ve deleted the app because I just gave up on ever hearing from them. Do not download this app. There’s lots more like it and they have better customer service. Don’t waste your time. ### 1/5 — No surveys in months *2019-07-04, version 1.10.6* I have contacted customer service twice in the last 6 months about surveys not coming in . They tell me to delete the app and reinstall and to make sure location is on. I’ve done everything they stated but still no surveys . It’s on their end many have complained of this same issue . The Developers and Engineers of this app needs to maintain it for this app to work correctly . Better customer service is very much needed . Their response when you report is the same steps than makes one wonder if their saying it’s your fault . Glad to see they don’t give out items instead of points anymore. I have noticed a drastic drop in surveys. I use to get at least one a day back in the day. Now I’ll get maybe 2-3 a week if I’m real lucky. The higher your saved point total is the slower you’ll get surveys, at least that’s what i have noticed. ### 5/5 — Super simple *2022-06-12, version 2.2.1* These surveys are based on places that you have actually been. It does take awhile to accumulate points but it is super easy with short surveys. Some free points are given along the way. I have still gotten the hundred points when I answered “no” if I visited a business. I rated this app 5 stars because of the courtesy and free points that are given and because you do qualify for every survey. ### 5/5 — Works great *2022-02-22, version 2.2.1* It’s a slow process but it’s free money! I’ve had this app for several years, back when they mailed out the gift cards, and it’s been working great! I’ve gotten several gift cards. Can’t wait to cash out my next one! I’m going for a $50 gift card. Make sure your location is always on! For some reason my location went off. I’m not sure if it was after an update but I noticed I wasn’t getting any surveys. Sure enough I checked and had to turn it on again. ### 5/5 — Love the app *2022-02-07, version 2.2.1* I’ve been using this app for several years now. I was getting multiple surveys a week and have been saving my points for awhile now. I had to upgrade my phone and since I installed the app on my new phone my surveys have pretty much stopped appearing on my phone. My location is finder is showing that it’s on. I’m just wondering why I haven’t been getting any new surveys since I reinstalled the app on my new phone. ### 5/5 — I LOVE LOVE LOVE this app.... *2020-11-27, version 2.1.0* I am NOT one to ever really review apps, bc I am one of those that are skeptical about reviews wondering if they “bought” reviews...anyhow this app is one that every time I get a new phone, this is one that I make sure to download first. I have used this app for YEARS!!! I usually do it all year long and then will cash out usually about Christmas time and I use it either to buy presents or buy something for myself for once. I absolutely love it!!! Sometimes I wish I would get more surveys to get more points but regardless I love it!!! Never once had any trouble redeeming or anything!!! I STRONGLY recommend this app!!! (I think this is the ONLY time I’ve ever said it, I’m pretty hard on reviewing, I review them to a pretty high standard) ### 5/5 — Really gives you gift cards *2020-05-29, version 2.1.0* I’ve had Survey Mini awhile and I was aiming for the $25 gift card. I ended up doing about 170 surveys for the $25, which I just redeemed for an Apple gift card. It applied it my Apple balance so it does work. It did take awhile to accumulate all the surveys but if you go places it will send you a notification to fill out a survey, you answer the questions and you get points to apply towards your choice of a gift card. It’s free money and only take a couple mins to fill stuff out. Why I really like it as well is it’s giving you an opportunity to let a company know how their services are. Many times a place was fantastic and I expressed that in the survey. And sometimes a place really needed improvement so that’s also a great opportunity to let that business know. ### 5/5 — This app is real. Free gift cards and rewards. *2019-10-26, version 2.0.0* I have been using this app for about 4 years. I have gotten 50 dollar gift cards from tractor supply as well as Tj maxx. This app really does work. I recommend it to my friends. It does take awhile to get enough points for the big gift cards but you really do receive them and don’t have to watch a bunch of adds or stupid stuff. Make sure to leave you location on. I’m not a negative person and don’t want to make the reviews negative, but sometimes the places need to know areas to improve. I’ve told friends about this app and they’re doing it as well!! ### 5/5 — Cool App *2019-05-03, version 1.10.6* I like SurveyMini. I enjoy providing feedback about my experiences. Im not sure who is reading the responses. I hope it will help businesses provide better service. But I’m sure it is mainly used to improve marketing strategies. Also, I don’t receive as many surveys as I used to. That slows down my opportunities to obtain rewards. Finally, I don’t care for reward choices that force you to choose between specific store items like movie popcorn, savings on an oil change or a Michael’s coupon. I sometimes don’t shop at these places and would rather have points toward the larger gifts. ### 5/5 — Love this app *2018-12-30, version 1.10.6* I have had this app for a long time and I love it. I have received several gift cards. You just need to be patient. It takes time to build up points but the surveys are short and easy, and the rewards are generous.
