Lately though I will fill out surveys, some 20 minutes worth of my time just for it to say I earned $0 because I didn’t fit the guidelines?? This is all of a sudden. Usually when you don’t have matching answers it tells you mid survey, not at the very end after I just wasted my time. It used to give you .10 cents for participating even if your answers didn’t line up to what they were looking for. I’m about to delete it because I’ve done about $8-10 in surveys this last week or 2 just to get no pay out. Please fix this issue. ### 4/5 — Expensive *2025-11-12, version 4.5.8* The plan fee is way too expensive $98.89 per month! It needs to be lowered and have more benefits if you have the plan and for the people who don’t want to pay the fees but need lots of responses well you can only get 25 responses ?!?! I will say that it is still a great app and has good survey making materials and the way it analyses all the answers is amazing because you don’t have to do all the math/work. Thank you have a great day!!!! ### 1/5 — Not fully functional *2025-04-13, version 4.5.1* Will not allow you to move questions around on your survey via the app or mobile browser. The option is there it just literally does not work. Also will not save the survey intro I’ve typed 100 times. Not worth the frustration. ### 2/5 — Delayed notifications *2025-04-08, version 4.2.2* I loved this app for a long time as I was using it for my business for clients to book the services they were interested in, unfortunately I would sometimes only get a notification 2/3 days later that they had filled in the questionnaire. Extremely disappointing as sometimes people would make last minute bookings and I’d miss them. The event was max out at 80 participants. Only people that were there had access to the QR code. We did the right setup by restraining the vote for 1 per device. When we got the results, they were an answer that got 300+ vote. Which was impossible. We had to go old-school with pen and paper last min as we could not rely to the answers. When I reached out to customer service for a refund or to be compensated for that, they said that if people clear they’re browser and redo it they will be able to enter more than once and technically wasn’t there problem. I wish at least they would have refund us part of it or assume that it’s pretty unreliable. ### 1/5 — Works well, but not without a million dollars. *2025-02-26, version 4.2.2* Makes you pay a ton for anything. lets you make 10 question surveys with a limited 25 responses, but then slowly take away the little bit of power they give you to manage them. And at the price they ask it’s 12x cheaper to house your own app on the AppStore. If ever I need a really big survey, I’ll just make my own app. ### 1/5 — didn’t work *2025-02-13, version 4.2.2* I made a survey and sent the link out, but nobody was able to submit it, making it useless. ### 1/5 — Do Not Recommend *2025-01-04, version 4.2.2* There are no clear instructions for questions or response limits for the free app. ONLY after you send out the survey do they tell you in order to see the responses you must upgrade. Pricing for a one time survey is ridiculously expensive and frustrating. I had recreated my questions three times only to find out I cannot see my results without paying $100.00 minimum. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Don’t bother! Expensive to use *2026-07-13, version 4.6.1* Completed survey. Got over 25 responses quickly. Then realised that I can’t see over 25 unless I pay £99! No chance! ### 1/5 — No support *2026-05-08, version 4.6.1* I clicked forgot password after the app signed me out for no reason. Won’t send me the password reset code. Followed all the help center steps of adding emails to my safe list, still won’t get it. Shouldn’t be so hard to figure out how to reset a password when this is occurring. Can’t figure out how to receive any help. Beyond frustrating ### 1/5 — Steals your Money- refuse refund *2026-03-11, version 4.6.0* I used this company a long time ago for work with great success. I used it to make a quick survey for my staff with the free version not realizing I would only get 25 responses. The only option says you need to buy a plan which is extremely expensive it does advertise paying for your survey responses. So I think perfect I just pay for the extra responses which after talking to someone they tell me how I spend 50 dollars for credits and guess what you can't use them unless I pay 90 more on a plan! Unbelievable I have been fighting them for my money back on something they falsely advertised and communicated. But they keep saying they can't. They are a scam, do not use or download! ### 1/5 — Awful policy on number of devices per account *2026-01-31, version 4.6.0* Think about how many devices you have. If like me, you're an established professional approaching middle age, you probably have a laptop, home pc, a smartphone, and a tablet or two. Surveymonkey only allows you to login two devices and will start harassing you in the app if you have a third device logged in, and will take away all access to your data if you remove and login "too many" devices according to THEIR opinion. This is not only inconvenient but it's giving surveillance. Like who are you to tell me where and when I can login and work on whatever project I want? I am a business owner and I travel and keep a busy schedule -- I need to use multiple devices and do my work on the go. I abhor the attitude of this corporation that wants to tell me how and when I can work on customer service requests and marketing, and when I can be logged in on which device.
