SurveyorPad has been designed specifically with Surveyors, Engineers, Architects, and Energy Assessors in mind, but is suitable for anyone that needs to produce scale, technical sketches, quickly and accurately. Pricing Information Surveyorpad is a Auto-renewable subscription model and comes with a 1 month free trial, the trial gives you full access to all features of the app and there is no limit to the number of sketches you can create or any restricted features. In order to activate the free trial you will have to insert your Apple ID and password when requested and select either a monthly, quarterly or annual subscription. Active subscription will enable you to use Straight lines, Quill and Freehand tools. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription. If having tried Surveyorpad for free you decide you do not wish to take a subscription or if you want to stop your existing subscription you can do this by turning off auto renewal in your iTunes account (settings, iTunes, manage subscriptions) at least 24 hours before your free trial is due to expire or 24 hours before your existing subscription is due to renew. If you fail to switch off auto renew your iTunes account will be automatically charged. If you choose not to subscribe or end your subscription the straight line, freehand line and quill tools will be locked meaning you cannot create any new drawings. However, you will still have access to the App and be able to view and export all existing content that was created during your free trial / subscription period. A few requests: - Ability to link Bluetooth laser measures (Leica disto etc) so when you take a measurement it will auto draw that line in the app with the correct measurement - Ability to see the length of a diagonal line as I’m drawing it rather than just x y lengths - Ability to dock the floating panels so they don’t move. I hate when developers force you into a subscription. We should be able to test your product for no commitment. **Developer response:** Hi there thank you for your feedback however you are mistaken, Surveyorpad does come with a completely free 30 day trial, which allows access to 100% of features. Upon registration Surveyorpad does ask you to enter your Apple ID / payment info in order to confirm the billing details for after the free trial ends. There is no obligation to purchase Surveyorpad after the free trial ends and you can cancel the auto renewal of the subscription in your Apple ID, either immediately, or at least 24 hours before your free trial ends to ensure you don’t get charged. I find Surveyorpad smooth, sharp, and stable, with a lot of great features to make my sketches clean and modern in a digital world. The ability to Rotate, work out square footage, and take pictures with your iPad and import into the app to sketch on is a life saver in complicated situations. I enjoy tidying up my sketches after and emailing it in either jpeg or pdf, making my sketches last forever and having that piece of mind. This app has made my job so much easier and user friendly, I have finally said goodbye to the old pen and paper, and I don’t look back.
