## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-12

Version 1.1 makes your current budget easier to read and protects saved data when an action cannot be completed.

- Budget now leads with Remaining.
- Categories leads with Total Amount, and Savings leads with Total Saved.
- History places the timeline before its export action.
- Empty priorities no longer appear covered.
- Amounts consistently show cents, including negative values.
- Exports, snapshot changes, restores, and Period Close provide clear progress, failure details, and a way to try again.
- Opening a screen starts you at the top of it, not partway down where you left the last one.
- Exporting your history and saving budget snapshots are no longer limited.
- Get Started stays reachable while setting up on a smaller iPhone.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-07-10

Fixed some inconsistent wording. A tier that ran past its limit showed up as "Over budget" on one screen and "Over Allocated" on another. Now every screen uses the same three labels: Covered, Near Limit, and Over Allocated.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-06-29

You can now close a budget period from Settings. It saves a snapshot of how the period went, clears any one-time expenses, and resets your budget for the next pay cycle. Recurring expenses stay.

### 1.05 — 2026-06-28

The "You can still afford" card in each budget section now shows your true remaining balance across all sections, not just what that section has left after its own expenses.

Previously, the Survival section might show $3,000 while Important had already committed $633 of it. Now every card shows the same number: your income minus everything allocated, so the signal is accurate wherever you look.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-06-20

Bug fix: budget tier labels on the home screen now correctly read Important, Quality of Life, and Future Building, matching how they appear everywhere else in the app.

Polish: button press feel is tighter, text wraps more naturally on all screen sizes, and currency figures now align on the decimal across all budget cards.

Accessibility: duplicate navigation landmark removed, confirmation modal now captures keyboard focus properly, decorative icons are hidden from screen readers. Empty state copy updated to cleaner, more direct language throughout.
