Skillz is a scam anyway. Might just be time to retire. You can never get ahead with Skillz games. Skillz take so much from each match anyway. Once you start winning and gain confidence skillz bring players back to reality and make them face people out of their league. The fact that there’s money involved and a huge flaw to sushi drop playing at your own risk is really a mind blowing excuse of a company. I don’t just make up all these crashes to take advantage. Sushi drop needs a serious update. The countdown needs to be better seriously. I know I’m not the only one who loses with aborted games. I’ve also won with aborted games. Then skillz wants to go and revamp the whole tier system and give back even less to players after matches (fewer tickets). Meanwhile you guys also took away the 20 match trophy a while back giving away $2. You guys are so money hungry. Took the fun out of playing. If you haven’t noticed I’ve already slowed down in playing and I played a heck of a lot once I discovered the skillz games. I downloaded so many skillz games because it was fun. I used my last remaking $3 very slowly and guess what. Seems to me you’ve already lost players because the wait to find an opponent became significantly long. I hope you can forward my message to headquarters. Show them how many cash crashes I reported giving me the response skillz is no longer refunding me due to skillz malfunctioning error. While you think about how to respond to my message, I’m going to send this message over through rating in the App Store and begin to delete all my skillz apps from my phone. Probably play different games or all together get back to the reality of life. Thanks for the general fun while it lasted. ### 2/5 — Freezes Constantly *2025-05-30, version 1.3.3* The game is fun, but on multiple occasions has froze in the middle of a tournament. It seems to be whenever power ups are used. The music and sound effects are still present and you can hear the sound effects when clicking around the screen, but there is no response. The only way to bypass the frozen screen seems to be force quiting the app- which gets your entry marked as an aborted game. Each game costs real money to enter, so for it to end with a score saying you aborted the match is extremely frustrating. The upside to this is the developers make it easy to contact customer support directly within the app. They’ve been speedy with their replies and have refunded the entry costs the two times I reached out (in a span of 24h). Contacting support multiple times within a 24hr time frame is crazy, especially for a game that isn’t free. My game just froze for the third time, which is why I’m writing this review. I want to contact customer support about it (again), but I am rather over it at this point and think the developers should refine their app before making it pay to play. It’s a fun game with cute graphics, but the system needs some work. ### 3/5 — Fun, but freezes often *2025-04-19, version 1.3.3* This is a fun game, but it freezes pretty much every time it hits the three second countdown. I submitted two crash reports in three days and they said that if I keep submitting more than I won’t be eligible for refunds. They sent a list of suggestions like making sure all of my apps are up to date on my phone, making sure I have good Wi-Fi, making sure the game says complete before exiting (that’s the problem, it freezes and doesn’t let me). Every other app and skillz app I have doesn’t do this.
