## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with music

*2021-07-19, version 1.1.2*

Don’t buy upgrade. There is no way to use this app while also listening to Spotify or any other kind of music app, the second that you open it it will kill the audio of whatever else you got.Doing TRX exercises is already brutal, doing them in without music is psychological warfare.

### 1/5 — It crashes every single time!

*2018-11-28, version 1.1.2*

I just purchased this app. It is impossible to use. When the button “begin exercise” is pressed, the app crashes.

### 1/5 — Music doesn’t work

*2018-11-12, version 1.1.2*

I like the app, even bought the full version. But it’s essentially useless to me if I can’t listen to music while I workout. Bought straps to use when I travel so my phone is the only option.

### 2/5 — No sound, voice cues missing

*2018-05-15, version 1.1.2*

This might be a great app but the voice cues don’t work, makes it impractical for me

### 2/5 — Great app but can’t listen to music on iPhone :(

*2018-03-26, version 1.1.2*

The app is awesome in terms of informative work outs but you can’t listen to music while working out which is a big flaw in my opinion. Would be 5 stars if you could listen to music

### 2/5 — Allow audio from other sources

*2017-11-22, version 1.1.2*

I loved this app on Android because I could listen to music or podcasts at the same time. It doesn't seem to be the case on iPhone which is a shame since I just decided to upgrade to the paid version.

### 3/5 — Trouble with custom workouts

*2021-07-27, version 1.1.2*

Can’t create, edit or save custom workouts. Will download again and see if that’s a fix.

### 3/5 — Can’t change audio

*2019-09-02, version 1.1.2*

Good amount of movements and programs that you can customize but you cannot use iTunes in the background with this app. For many that would be a deal breaker.

### 3/5 — Useless on iPhone

*2018-12-29, version 1.1.2*

First had this app on android phone and it was amazing. I could listen to music and get audio cues during the workout. Then I got an iPhone and happily paid my $3 for the premium version thinking I’d get the same workout. The iPhone version is garbage. No audio cues and can’t listen to music. Which means you have to look at your phone, the entire time for the the timing and next exercise... which doesn’t make for a good workout. I do recommend this app if you have an android phone, but if you have an iPhone, don’t waste your time. Note to developers: please make this as good for iPhone as it is for android!!

### 3/5 — Fix the timer

*2018-04-10, version 1.1.2*

The app would be great if only the timer for exercises wasn’t so wonky. Trying to pause or restart an exercise makes it go haywire and it never recovers when resuming.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2017-11-25, version 1.1.2*

I purchased the premium edition and it works perfectly. My only request from developers is changing the exercise duration with exercise repetition. Or let us to choose. Tnx a lot for ur great app!!

### 5/5 — This should be TRX official app

*2017-06-30, version 1.1.2*

Really great app. It's fast, responsive and it has a lot of features and exercises.

Wish it had more "get ready" options such as: 30 seconds, 60 seconds and 90 seconds.

Kudos!

### 5/5 — Awesome trainer app!

*2017-05-05, version 1.1.0*

I have been looking for an app that clearly and easily can show me how to use the TRX system. This is it-no sign up for an account In order to access the content-a huge plus when trying consider which app to use.

All I wanted was some simple instructions and a new way to improve my gym workouts! I will definitely check other apps you make.

One question what am I getting for premium upgrade?

Keep it up this a good app on this subject and helpful for someone like me with a training background.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2017-04-06, version 1.0.3*

Nice videos and I especially like being able to select individual GIFs for a quick look. Well done for a free app

### 4/5 — Very flexible

*2022-06-07, version 1.1.2*

I like this app but I would like it even more if I was able also to play music along with it. Because when I’m running this app I’m not able to play Spotify or SoundCloud

### 4/5 — Good amount of options

*2020-06-03, version 1.1.2*

Good amount of options for workouts, but I wish it would let a background music app play music during the workout.

### 4/5 — Great workouts - can’t listen to music

*2020-01-15, version 1.1.2*

I’m glad I implemented this app in my workouts, I even paid the 2.99 to unlock leg workouts. The one thing I would suggest, and am hoping that my $3 can get this to happen: allow me to listen to music (Apple, Spotify, LÜM) during my workouts. I’ve basically been doing it in silence.

### 4/5 — Needs ability to play music while using the app.

*2019-06-04, version 1.1.2*

Great app, will change to rate five stars if the developer would allow you to play music while using the app! It gets extremely boring working out when I am not allowed to play any music!

### 4/5 — Great App.

*2017-06-29, version 1.1.2*

Now this makes suspension training fun and sweat drenched! Haven't used a lot yet so hopefully good things to come for all.

### 4/5 — Responsive developer

*2017-05-30, version 1.1.2*

This app has some nice new exercises to try. One other possible improvement is to show the exercise from at least two perspectives to make sure you're doing it right. The single perspective makes it hard to see what the exercises and how to do it correctly.
When I originally wrote a review the sound on the app was not working. The developer contacted me immediately and worked to fix it--if only ever every developer was as responsive! I downloaded and reinstalled the app and it works. The voice cue is one of those weird mechanical voices but you get the idea of what to do. A more human voice would be much better.
