I haven’t tried the scheduling part of the app yet. Overall it’s a good app, my only issue is I wish the ordering h process was more user friendly. I do need to say that email for customer service is not always responsive and my work schedule doesn’t necessarily allow me to call in business hours. It nearly cost me 200 bucks in spoiled food. The scheduling my meal orders is so effortlessly and efficient. The ability to schedule my meals and also look up recipes To in one place is amazing. I would recommend this app if you have a Suvie. You are able to put meals in before you leave for work set the time you want dinner ready and it is complete when you get home. They are always coming out with new meals. They even have kid friendly meals. All the meals I have tried are delicious. I was excited about the ability to toss my food in before we went to work and have a meal ready to eat when we got home. I didn’t even know about the app at that time. Now, 2 months in, I am even more pleased! The ability to use my phone to start and monitor the cooking process, order meals and see previous orders, monitor what I have in my freezer, and pull up recipes and cook times for my self made meals… just amazing. There’s just nothing better than making my meal in the morning and it’s ready to serve me up at the time I choose. Now my evenings I can just relax. The convenience of using their pre-packaged meals that I can dump, scan and schedule to cook for later in the day for my family have been a complete game changer. I used to use crockpot cooking to accomplish a similar goal, but the Suvie outdoes it with two cooking zones that can be set for different temps, cooking styles and cook times ready when you need it to be. The app is user friendly and once your machine is linked, you can control the cool schedule right from your phone even if you are miles away from home. When I’m traveling for the day, I’ll schedule a meal for my family to be ready at dinner, and then they can adjust it if they want to eat earlier - or if they are running late, I can push the cook time out further. Excellent flexibility! Too bad there isn’t a house size oven made with this technology to help with holiday meals for crowds - but if there was, I’d be buying it! ### 5/5 — Love my Suvie *2025-02-11, version 12.0.0* I recently got a Suvie after my sister has had one. She made the crab cake with rice and broccoli and I was sold. I’ve had crab cakes all over the world and these are some of the best, beating 5 star restaurants that serve crab cakes. The process is so easy, clean up is easy. I have more family time! I cannot recommend this product enough! You can not dismiss the review dialog. You cannot change the time of your current cook. You can’t do anything until submitting a review. This is unacceptable behavior. ### 1/5 — Scamming $ Scheming *2025-07-20, version 14.0.0* Why does the app prompt me to update it but the App Store shows it was updated 4 days ago? I ordered meals and they charged my CC but haven’t responded to emails asking for an update. Speaking of charging CCs, their pricing model is a black box. How could this happen in the App? Is this store as secure as they claim in their defense against Epic? I’ve turned my phone off and on again, force closed…. The app is just unintuitive and makes using the oven more frustrating. This app does not have a back button when searching for recipes. You will end up typing your search word again and scrolling all the way down where you were on your previous search. And you’d think we are in 2023z If you like a recipe there is no way to save it to your favorites. You will have to search for it again as above. Won’t let me create an account unless I sign up and pay for a meal plan. Very disappointed. ### 1/5 — Almost never works *2022-12-21, version 5.0.0* This app has so much potential to increase the value of the Suvie and Starchy appliances, however it’s inconsistent at best. I’m almost never able to connect to the appliances to start, stop or even see the status of our meals. Approx 75% of the time I do get a notice (push notification) that the Suvie has completed cooking. But I’m usually in the house and can hear the appliances beeping anyway, so not very useful. I’ve opened a ticket with Suvie support with no results. They tested my units and confirmed excellent WiFi connectivity. All I can attribute it to is buggy software. Bummer… ### 1/5 — App won’t open *2022-12-12, version 5.0.0* I have deleted and downloaded many many times. It’s up to date per the App Store and when I log in it just goes to a blank screen! When it is first redownloaded it says an update available but when I click on it nothing happens ### 1/5 — Crashes after logging in *2022-11-09, version 5.0.0* After logging into the Suvie app, the screen goes completely white and cannot do anything other than close the app and retry. We purchased the Suvie Oven because it was on sale and we thought, it looks interesting and maybe it’ll be a game changer for having meals ready to go with a minimal effort. I don’t mind cooking by any means, but if I have a machine that will make life a little bit easier in the kitchen, I’m all for it. Once we received our oven, I was completely blown away. I love that you have the top part of the oven that prepares your proteins and the bottom part of the oven that prepares your side dishes, whether it’s rice or vegetables. what I find Amazing is that once I set the temperature and time I simply tell the oven with the application what time I want dinner ready and it will literally start cooking and have dinner ready at whatever time you tell it to. And if you don’t remove the food from the oven, it has a built-in warmer and it will keep your dinner warm until you can grab it out of the oven. I just ordered my first set of meals, which will come with cards that I can scan, but the application has a ton of recipes and for example, if you want to make salmon and vegetables, there’s a recipe for that, so you can set the oven for the exact temperature and amount of cooking time you need for the top and bottom and again have the meal start cooking now or have the meal ready at a specific time. If you prepare your meal ahead of time and you don’t need it until several hours later, the oven has a built-in fridge that keeps the food cool until it’s ready to start cooking. This is one of the best appliances I have ever spent money on, and I would do it again and again. If you can afford to buy the oven do it. It’s worth every dime. I am able to order Suvie meals in the app. I can schedule my food to cook at a later time like when I’m at work and want to come home to a hot meal. I can set it and forget about it. Suvie does all the work for me. You can find recipes in the app to cook whatever food you want. It doesnt have to be a Suvie meal that you order. It’s incredible! It beeps like a microwave, but it also notifies your device so you are notified no matter where you are. It’s a great device and the food selection is fantastic! It gets better… you don’t HAVE to wait for the subscription food. Don’t be discouraged to get the cooker because you’re afraid of getting a subscription. You can pause the subscription and cook your own food. It cooks a ton of different ways.
