Not worth the trouble. I have downloaded and deleted a few times thinking I might not be giving it a chance. Nope. Easier to use your phone with a good mount. ### 1/5 — Gut gemeint, absolut schlecht gemacht *2025-04-06, version 2.23.0* Die App möchte erst Mal alle Berechtigungen damit sie überhaupt funktioniert. Aber funktionieren tut sie leider nur auf Minimalniveau. Das heißt von A nach B navigieren. Ja, das ist ja schon mal was. Aber das kann heutzutage nicht der Sinn einer vernünftigen App sein. Wie schon von anderen beschrieben, muss dr Bildschirm ständig an sein, mit Bluetooth und WLAN verbunden sein und saugt dadurch den Akku leer. Läuft die APP dann mal, dann kann auf dem Handy KEINE Anwendung parallel genutzt werden. Was soll das denn? Und bloß nicht den Sperrbildschirm aktivieren, sonst geht gar nix mehr. Die angebotenen kompatiblen Apps sind ebenso Schrott. Eine App deren Entwickler/Entwicklung auf allerniedrigstem Niveau stehen geblieben ist. Das passt nicht zu Suzuki. Das geht wesentlich besser. Bitte nachbessern und vernünftige Apps wie Calimoto oder kurviger verknüpfen!! Und dann auch noch so entwickeln, dass mein Handy auch in Ruhemodus gehen kann und andere Anwendungen noch bedient werden können! ### 1/5 — Dommage à améliorer *2025-03-27, version 2.23.0* Dommage que nous devons rester sur cette application qui mange la batterie du téléphone à vitesse, grand V il y a qu’un système de GPS Sygic qui est vraiment bien, mais plusieurs déconnexion arrivent souvent ! The maps is awful and you have to pay when google is free etc just needs to be a basic car play functionality. Ya podrían actualizarla y mejorarla. ### 1/5 — アプリとしての出来が悪い *2024-10-16* インカムを使用していると勝手にmy spin優先で接続されてしまい、音が出なくなります。 走り出した瞬間に音楽が再生できなくなる症状が出ていたためインカムの故障かと思い色々と調べてみたところこのアプリが原因でした。 バックグラウンドで動かすことも不可能なので画面が消灯すると接続が切れます。 アプリも対応しているものがほぼなく、私の使用しているナビアプリも音楽再生アプリも使用不可能です。 使い辛い程度なら普通に使っていくつもりでしたがそもそも使えません。 いくらなんでもひどすぎませんか。 ### 1/5 — INUTILIZZABILE *2024-09-18, version 2.22.0* Ho acquistato una Suzuki GSX S1000GX anche per la possibilità di utilizzare il navigatore sullo schermo della moto. Tutto connesso, destinazione impostata … e il telefono (un IPhone 13 pro) inizia scaldare fino a diventare rovente dopo neanche 5 minuti. Ho provato più volte, ma il problema è sempre lo stesso: al di là della scomodità (lo smartphone deve restare sbloccato, altrimenti l’app si disconnette) l’app fa scaldare il telefono MOLTISSIMO, TROPPO: dopo 5 minuti di utilizzo devo chiudere tutto e aspettare 10 minuti che ritorni a temperatura normale. Come è possibile che una società come Suzuki (è la terza che acquisto) non intervenga? Dopo i problemi riscontrati, ho cercato on line: le lamentele sono moltissime. No turn by turn and sometimes the map doesn’t stay centred on your location. Plus you have to leave your phone unlocked for it to work. Need to leave your phone on, kills the battery within 2 hours . The third party apps and imaps dont let you easily make if at all any kind of custom map (something rather important for motocycle riders) tried using Rever but it turns the map screen black and freezes . Eventually deleted app, phone from bike, headset from bike and went back to google maps and headset . Basically MySpin is a useless and probably expensive part of the new bikes. Inutilizzabile!!! ### 1/5 — Im Hintergrund und mit Sperrbildschirm nicht nutzbar. *2025-04-23, version 2.23.0* Eingesetzt wird die App in Verbindung mit einer Suzuki GSX S 1000 GX und iPhone 15. Leider verliert die App die Verbindung mit dem Fahrzeug wenn man den Bildschirm sperrt oder die App schließt oder zu einer anderen App wechselt. Zudem saugt die App den Akku leer! Es wird doch möglich sein das Problem mit einem Update zu beheben! Music works but only for and music that’s on your phone. Would be nice to stream or use radio. Maps work no problem as does phone. Others will say it’s terrible etc… I say to them. Don’t use it. It plays my music, works the maps just fine. Who cares about all of the contacts on your phone while riding?? Music and maps that’s what I say. Sure it’s nice to make calls or take them. But do you really need to be scrolling thru contacts while riding??? The phone part works just fine. Just give it some time and you will figure it out. Not bothered by the battery drain, it’s easy enough to plug into the usb port when needed. Please keep improving this app - it’s a great starting point but needs more refinement. Please add things like: 1. Stop forcing phone to be unlocked. 2. Add support for more navigation apps, like Waze, Magic Earth, Google Maps. 3. Privacy - location settings should be only when used (not “always”). This can be a great platform to add capabilities and use the wonderful screens of the GT and GX - and it’s all just software!!! That means allowing your location services all the time. Sygic is an ok app for nav and it looks really good on the TFT. If it’s a chill ride, being able to see your music ‘now playing’ is good too. Yes, your phone will need to be on charge and the screen will dim itself but always be on - not ideal but that’s how the mirroring works. Nothing really beats having your phone mounted on a quad lock wireless charger, which is what I use in all weathers. If they could just get google maps, Waze, or calimoto on the app, it would be just competitive enough that I’d use it far more often. At the minute, this app will be reserved for very long A to B day trips (300 mile plus) so I can keep my phone out the sun and just relax with the TFT. Otherwise, the iPhone wins every time for third party nav apps. ### 3/5 — Verliert dauernd die Verbindung zum Bike *2023-02-26, version 2.18.0.11* Ich fahre sehr gerne mit der Sygic Navigations App. Beim Betrieb verliert die mySPIN App die Verbindung zum Bike Suzuki.
