Improvements on alarms/schedules and integration with iOS shortcuts to allow Siri automations would set Sven&Son apart. ### 3/5 — Don’t scan remote, use manual *2025-05-26, version 4.5.4* FYI - In order for the remote buttons to show up, you need to scan the code on the manual. The instructions say you can scan the code on the physical remote as well, but this didn’t work for me. If you can’t find your manual, they have the downloads available on the website. TLDR; App works. Terrible instructions. Read the manual. ### 4/5 — Application loads slow on phone. *2024-11-08, version 4.5.4* Application loads very slow. Once it loads and you select a device it works very well. Most probably don’t realize it takes several minutes for it to blue tooth to your phone. Maybe this app needs to be tweaked a little to load more efficiently. ### 1/5 — Missing controls *2024-08-11, version 4.5.4* why are the control buttons on the app now all missing ? ### 4/5 — Found Solution! *2024-08-03, version 4.5.4* We like the bed frame control App but one side of our King frame stopped showing up on the Select Device page. I tried everything to get it to show up again and had given up and put in a call to their service people. While waiting for a call back I thought of one more possibility: disconnect power to the frame for a longer time in hopes that it would do a ‘hard reset’. IT WORKED!!! I left power off for around 10 to 15 minutes. When I reconnected power the missing side finally showed up on the Select Device list. So now both sides of the bed were listed. I selected the problem one and then had to rescan the the code pattern on the back of the remote controller (or in the manual) and everything finally worked! Hope this helps some of you all who had this problem. - Bob Hart ### 4/5 — App FIXED and a Feature request *2024-01-15, version 4.5.4* I’ve had no issues with this frame for three years other than the app quit functioning a year or so ago. I recently decided to see if I could make it functional. I couldn’t locate my manual and had same issue as many negative reviews stated. I could see and connect to the device but no controls. After some experimenting I noticed an icon that let me allow camera access and scan a QR code on the back of my remote. Works great now! I also see there is an alarm function that I never knew I had! DEVELOPER FEATURE REQUEST… Can I enable the massage vibration during alarm? There is a selection for MEMORY 1 on alarm presets but I can only store the frame position into memory . Am I missing something or can this be added to app in future upgrades? ### 1/5 — DONT GET THIS APP!!!!!!!!! As part of that, I’m looking at the apps for them. Reading through the reviews for Sven’s app, there seems to be consistent problems with a cryptic interface. Also, information that should be onscreen is in a separate manual. The nonsensical onscreen language that’s used in the app only adds to the mess. For example, the app says, “Enter the device controller interface.” I’m guessing that means that you should select your bed from a list. Your Customer Support people apparently have a successful procedure to get the beds set up. I’m sure that they’ve written it all out. Why don’t you have them redo the screens for this app so that they make sense? If you don’t think that it’s important enough to fix, calculate the costs of having staff explain things again and again for hours each month. Add that to the cost of losing customers and hopefully, you’ll understand that this is an important issue. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Works perfectly *2025-10-17, version 4.5.4* This app works great , despite what other reviews are saying. After downloading select the model number you have connected. Then scan the QR code from the users manual or else you will get a blank screen. After scan both of my QR code from each of the separate manuals for my split king if then added a picture to each one so they would not get confused. I saved the settings. Now the app works every time. 10/16/2025 This is a two year update. The app still works perfectly. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Has worked across many iPhone versions and iOS releases. Not sure why others are having issues but the setup was quick and easy. Make sure to allow the application access to Bluetooth, the app then detects the base. Simply select the base and the tap on the scan button in the upper right and scan the QR code on the bottom of the remote, that’s it. The simply enjoy using your phone as the remote, very handy when your spouse leaves the remote on the opposite side of the bed. :) ### 5/5 — It finally works!!!! *2023-04-14, version 4.5.4* On a lark I decided to try the apple control for my new Sven Bed base-which I love…I was so happy to see my bed respond to the commands just as the remote. Now the app works every time. ### 5/5 — Entitled people - read the manual *2023-03-02, version 4.5.3* I’m one of those entitled people who could t figure it out. I kept getting a blank screen. Then I read the manual and I felt smarter than Einstein himself. The solution has been posted here multiply times, but the more entitled people’s noise floats at the top, sadly. The developers can do better by including the brain-dead 2-point simple solution on the blank screen, rather than just being a blank screen. You’re welcome. ### 5/5 — Good once you receive instructions *2022-08-13, version 4.5.3* I was so annoyed before a CSR at Sven & Son sent me instructions on how to navigate the app. Apparently you have to scan the QR code on the back of your remote & select your bed to operate it using the phone.
