This was the best decision I could have ever made in my journey to learning Vietnamese. I have been taking lessons for the past eight months with SVFF. All of SVFF’s resources have been absolutely instrumental in ensuring I am continually progressing and improving in my Vietnamese speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. My teacher tailors the lessons to focus on my weaknesses and keep me on track to reaching my goals. Although learning a new language can seem daunting, my teacher is so kind and welcoming and even when I do not have a lot of time to study independently due to my full-time job, she is always patient and understanding. In addition to one-on-one lessons, I benefit from SVFF’s listening practice exercises with audio files and speaking tests with feedback from Mr. Phi and Miss Thuong. I also continue to watch SVFF’s YouTube videos to supplement my lessons. I have had 9 lessons with Chị Thương. It feels like I'm learning from a friend in an environmental that's fun and free of judgement. I personally can read and speak conversationally, so my needs are a little different but Chị Thương has adapted the classes to suit my needs and goals 😀 The resources on the SVFF platform is really diverse too so you won't run out of things to study in your spare time.
