SVP (aka SmoothVideo Project) converts any video to 60 fps (and even higher) and does it in real time. From the extensive community feedback, we learned that anyone who has watched at least three movies at high frame rates would never ever want to watch anything in the outdated 24 fps standard ;) In-App subscriptions: Frame Rate Conversion (aka FRC aka HFR aka MEMC) is a PAID option after short trial period. However, when used offline it will occasionally display an unable to verify licence error message which renders the player unusable until internet is restored which is unacceptable. Additionally, a connect to jellyfin option would be nice Also, an option to reorder the bottom navigation bar and an option to move Svpcast to the video settings menu would be nice. ### 5/5 — Константин вы лучший. It crashes constantly during navigation. Pressing the eject button crashes the app, navigating to directory and trying to go back a level crashes, opening a video, closing it and attempting to navigate crashes. It’s completely unusable for me. A real shame as the PC version works amazingly (though I wish you could specify an exact FPS target instead of multipliers). Update 2026-04-07: they’ve updated it to make it worse. Can only browse entire movie library, can’t search. ABSOLUTE. GARBAGE. ### 1/5 — Crashes constantly, UI is a confusing mess. A real shame as the PC version works amazingly (though I wish you could specify an exact FPS target instead of multipliers). ### 2/5 — One major flaw short of perfection *2026-01-27, version 1.7.0* While SVPlayer for iOS carries over many of the same features from SVP4Mac, it’s held back by an app-breaking flaw: Every time I skip to the next video in my carefully curated “Own” folder, a big blue infinite loading overlay obstructs my view of my video (which is otherwise playing back perfectly as I’d like). Clearly this is a bug, but it’s a frustrating bug nonetheless—and the only workaround I’ve found thus far is to close the app and re-open it every time I want to switch to a different video—and doing that defeats the whole point of the skip button. I’m happy to come back and update my review to 5 stars if/when this is resolved. As of this writing, however, the infinite load overlay that occurs every time on skip ruins my experience with SVPlayer to the extent that I regret paying money for it in the first place. ### 5/5 — pop view *2025-12-18, version 1.7.0* pls insert pop view option.very very god player ### 1/5 — Работает, но разочаровывает. *2025-12-18* Все хорошо, в целом, ОДНАКО!! Я не использую свп фильтры для «бутса фпс» Однако, когда я БЕЗ сети, не смотря на это, приложение не разрешает смотреть видео, пока «не убедится в лицензии» Это очень раздражает. Это буквально единственный основной минус! Я загрузил это приложение, так как хотел mpv player for iOS . (И хочу до сих пор) Исправьте то, что требует постоянно проверку эту. - я повторюсь, я просто хочу смотреть этим «МПВ ПЛЕЕРОМ», обычные видео, без фильтра от свп. А для обычного просмотра, постоянно спрашивать о лицензии, поменьше мере , глупо? Вот уехал ты на 2 недели, и у тебя нету сети… Получается, НЕ ПОСМОТРИШЬ СВОИ ВИДЕО ? Так как постоянно ПЕРЕОДИЧЕСКИ, просит проверить лицензию? А в целом, хорошее приложение. Мне оч не хватает мпв на иос. влс - очень плох..
