1. Texts are often unreliable and should be double checked. 
2. Obvious errors remain unaltered even after the news desk has been informed. 
3. The journalistic focus is often on emotions rather than facts. People’s reactions to an event will always dominate the story rather than the underlying facts.

Thorough vetting of sources is one of the more impressive aspects of their reporting; additionally the perspective SVT brings to Utrikes Nyheter is an awesome breath of fresh air (for an American such as I).
