I can’t believe that when someone deposits money they don’t call to say it has been rejected because of one word.  My other bank calls. I had a large amount I needed in there and they didn’t call they emailed me I don’t always get my email there for I am now overdrawn and things are bouncing.

We understand you would have preferred a phone call, however at SWACU, members are notified by email when a mobile deposit needs attention. We have found email to be the most reliable way to communicate important account updates, since phone calls can be missed or go to voicemail. The email also allows us the time and space to explain in detail why the deposit was rejected, so the issue can be corrected, and the deposit resubmitted as quickly as possible.

The endorsement requirements for mobile deposits are an important part of protecting our members and the credit union from fraud. Requiring the exact endorsement helps confirm that a check is intended only for mobile deposit at SWACU. We take every precaution to safeguard and protect our members’ accounts. 

If ever you want to guarantee your check deposit goes directly into your account, in real time with no chance of delay, please try using one of our Shared Branches (follow or copy and paste the link below).
