## What is SwaedUAE?

SwaedUAE is the official volunteering app of Swaed UAE Association For Culture and Community Empowerment (جمعية سواعد الإمارات للتمكين المجتمعي والثقافي), a non-profit association in Fujairah licensed by the UAE Ministry of Community Empowerment (MoCE), licence no. 784-7-01-190143.

Find meaningful ways to give back across the United Arab Emirates: community, cultural, environmental, health, education and national-occasion initiatives.

• Organizers: event-day mode with a live roster and group check-in
• Available in Arabic and English

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.5 — 2026-10-07

Check-in is more reliable: a fresh, precise location at check-in and check-out, and buttons that respond at once. On iPhone, location is used only when you check in or out; if you allow it, your iPhone notices when you leave or return to the event area. The post-event survey is optional, and your hours count at once. SwaedUAE card, family members and many fixes.

### 1.2 — 2026-10-03

Sign in with UAE PASS (coming soon), two-step verification, and a short post-event survey that releases your verified hours. Report missing hours from your phone, see cancelled events clearly, choose how we notify you (email, push, WhatsApp), and organizations can cancel events with a reason. Faster fixes from now on.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-01

A new look for the whole app: every screen is a map sheet of one emirate. Shifts for long events, an official hours letter for the Golden Visa and universities, WhatsApp reminders (opt in), and a redesigned organization area.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-30
