It would be good to be able to begin the reading inside the chapter and not just at the beginning. Also,the reader is very articulate, but he reads so fast I can hardly keep up. I am a beginning learner in the Swahili language and want to learn, so I need to be able to slow down the speed of the reading so I can learn how to say the words and read the Bible fluently to be able to teach in the Swahili language. ### 3/5 — Recommended *2019-03-14* I strongly recommend this Swahili Bible especially if you like the text version. The audio version is rather slow and read like a news item with too many pauses - it should be read as a story with tonal expression and feeling. The ability to switch between Swahili and English is so beneficial to someone trying to learn the language of Swahili. That is also involved in ministry needing the Bible as a resource. The ability just to drop down a window and switch from King James to switch to Swahili or if anyone prefers a few votes verses together is truly amazing. Everyone else does it’s in such a complicated way that it’s very bothersome and cumbersome. This is the easiest app to use for this purpose I’ve ever found. ### 5/5 — Fix something please. *2025-11-03* It’s saying pay only once forever, but when you pay once after few months again something will happen to the app, then you will have to delete it and reinstall again and pay again. Please fix that now it’s been happening to me like 3 to 4 times. I love this app, it’s the best Swahili audio Bible ever. But I will still rate it with 5 stars.
