I’ve used it with an Akai EWI and an Artinoise re.corder.  It has settings for both, and works flawlessly with them.

A lovely sound with almost limitless ways to control and express the Cello. The depth of the interface does take some time to familiarise oneself, but the reward is an instrument with life as opposed to a sample.

EDIT Finding the Ask videos on SWAM in this app store helped me fully understand the instruments and controls in a visual way.
