Textu není zbytečně moc. Nic není samo účelně okrasné zdlouhavé pasáže které v jiných textovkách tak vadí Tu nejsou. Parametrů, které je potřeba sledovat není moc a dá se v tom zorientovat už na první pokus. Really enjoyed the game otherwise, top 5 "choose your own adventure" games. Although I love the reference to Varys from "The Great Tournament", it got me to replay TGT. Another complaint I have is the fact that I got stuck having to click next for 10 min because during the kings castle siege the rebels always had 104 more units than me, so I had to click next for 10 min KNOWING I was gonna lose bc some random bs. ### 4/5 — Málem jsem přehlédl tavernu *2017-03-21, version 1.0.0* Musím uznat, že tato hra je daleko zábavnější, než většina dnešních titulů s dokonale realistickou grafikou. Jedná věc mě však zarazila. Při výběru z několika možností, kam se bude má cesta dále ubirat, byla hospoda až na úplně posledním místě!!! Málem jsem ji přehlédl! Kdybych si ji nakonec nevšiml, tak jsem málem vešel do kostela! If I had to criticise then I'd say it has more opportunity to fail than real choice (compared to other CoG offerings) but that didn't stop me from restarting about 30-40 times to try to reach different goals - without getting bored at all. Few spelling errors and the like in text. Amazing concept. Has potential to be better if more descriptive, and historically accurate in some areas. Very, Very challenging game mechanics and story choices. This may actually be fun for some readers or really, really anger other readers. It has multiple Ok-ish endings that are disappointingly short. You can win at everything if you make the right choice. It is aggravating to play half way or more into the story and then die if you don't make the right choice out of multiple options. ### 5/5 — Amazing, but needs work *2016-11-24* 11/16/16 I love this game, however I wish there were more ways the story could go, and that it wasn't so easy to die. I had 14,000 gold and a good rule, but then all of a sudden I chose one choice and it says "you have died or lost control of your kingdom." That makes no sense, considering my leadership and rule was very high in numbers. Please fix this, I always die at some point in the civil war, and also maybe show a timeline so I can know whenever I am able to upgrade a skill of get taxes. 11/25/16 I just beat the game. To the developer: please add more to the story than the end you currently have, you need a longer story. Also, make there be more endings please. ### 5/5 — Awesome!!! *2016-09-06* This was just like a game on pen and paper me and my friends used to play, we always called it "maps" (the main paper was a fantasy style map we drew). This game was so great I couldn't put it down. It did feel short but I know it's a lot of work. However it would be nice if you updated it and added more little by little so it isn't one of those games that you play once the delete. The writing is okay with occasional typos and logic errors. Things seem to happen randomly. Important game design information is hidden from the player. Do I have enough troops to defeat the enemy? *shrug* Do I have enough strength to defeat the barbarian king? *shrug* The frequency of game over possibilities makes this game play more like a series of Quick Time Events (choose the right things in the correct order or lose) than an interactive fiction game with branching paths and interesting consequences for choices. ### 2/5 — Poorly Written *2020-08-04, version 1.0.1* Grammar and more grammar errors! There is potential, but the author is advised to read actual fantasy novels to learn how to construct a consistent fantasy world and narrative. Also in need of editing. Interesting story, lots to do. ### 4/5 — Good game, minor (but v. annoying) issues *2019-10-22, version 1.0.1* I write this with hope that it will get viewed, unfortunately last update was a year ago so seems unlikely but still. A very good game, I love the concept and the way it’s written. Some great ideas thrown in there as well means it’s very enjoyable. Unfortunately a few issues that really just annoy and frustrate me. My main issue is with the status screen, it shows a weird mix mash of your status. For example it doesn’t show your gold or number of workers which are both very relevant, but does show how closely you are related to the dark or light side which I haven’t been able to determine a use for. Secondly I’m not sure about others but I’m unable to get a score at the end. My screen comes up with a calculating score screen however it doesn’t change after 5 minutes. Thirdly as was said above a save feature that can be used so that you don’t have to go through the whole game every time would be great. Still 4 stars though as I really enjoyed playing it and you can play through despite issues.
