## What is Swarlipi?

Swarlipi is a notebook for Hindustani music students.

Write down what your teacher taught you in class, in the sargam notation you already use. Keep your notes, voice recordings, and compositions from every lesson in one place, organised by date.

WRITE SARGAM
A keyboard built for Indian classical music. Tap for shuddha swars, hold for komal, tivra, and all three octaves. The app knows which notes belong to your raga and only shows you those.

PLAY IT BACK
Hear what you wrote, played on real harmonium samples at whatever tempo you choose.

KEEP CLASS NOTES
Every session gets a date, your written notes, and voice recordings so you never forget what your guru actually said.

FIND YOUR RAGA
A time wheel showing which ragas belong to which hours of the day, the way the tradition intends. Drag around the dial to explore, or open it and see what fits right now.

TRAIN YOUR EAR
A pitch game that plays a swar and asks you to name it. Choose your Sa and your difficulty.
