SwarnaPro - The Gold Calculator and Udhaar Book for Jewellers Built for Indian jewellers who price gold all day and carry half the shop's accounts in their head. Calculate any transaction in seconds, and keep track of every rupee a customer still owes. THE UDHAAR BOOK Most sales are not settled in full on the day. SwarnaPro keeps that running balance for you. Record what the customer paid on the save screen and the remainder becomes udhaar against their name. Open the Udhaar tab to see everyone who owes you, with the most overdue at the top. Record payments as they come in, and send a polite WhatsApp reminder when one is late. Customers who have paid ahead show separately, so money you hold is never mistaken for money you are owed. Balances from before you installed the app can be entered by hand, so day one is not a blank page. THREE CALCULATION MODES Old Gold Purchase Value a customer's old gold instantly — weight, purity (24K, 22K, 18K, 14K), rate and wastage, with a breakdown you can show across the counter. New Jewellery Sale Full costing including gold cost, making charges (percentage, per-gram or flat), wastage, stone value and GST. Exchange The one that takes longest on paper. Old gold credit and new jewellery cost together, ending in the exact balance to pay or return. GST is applied to making charges only, the way an exchange should be billed. PROFESSIONAL QUOTATIONS Generate a PDF quotation carrying your shop name, GST number and terms, and share it over WhatsApp before the customer leaves. Free, with no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. ## Version history (last 2 releases) ### 2.0 — 2026-07-30 UDHAAR BOOK — know exactly who owes you what Your khata, in your pocket. When a customer pays only part of a bill, SwarnaPro now remembers the balance instead of leaving it on a notebook page. - Record a part payment right on the save screen. Enter what the customer handed over; the rest becomes udhaar automatically. - A new Udhaar tab shows every outstanding balance, largest first, with overdue customers at the top. - Add balances from before you started using the app, with or without a bill behind them. - Record payments against a balance any time. Payments clear the oldest charge first, the way a running khata always has. - Set an optional due date on a charge. Once it passes, that customer moves into Overdue. - Send a polite, pre-written WhatsApp reminder in one tap. You see the message before it sends — nothing is ever sent for you. - Customers who have paid ahead are shown separately as advances, so money you are holding is never confused with money you are owed. - Your outstanding total appears on the home screen. RESTORE FROM A BACKUP Creating a backup was only half the story. You can now restore one — moving to a new phone, or undoing a mistake. Before a restore replaces anything, SwarnaPro saves a copy of what is currently on the device, so "Undo Last Restore" is always there. A file that is not a SwarnaPro backup is refused before a single record is touched. FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS - Weights entered in tola or troy ounce are now converted exactly.
