I could not send 1 sentence without getting 2 ads for what look like better chat apps. I could even get to the pricing page before I finally said I cannot watch anymore ads, all for apps competing with them. If they are so cash poor that they cannot give you 5 minutes to try their app before you subscribe, ad free, then they have undoubtedly taken cost saving shortcuts elsewhere.
