No matter what I do I can’t get readings on my iPhone locked screen anymore. Managing it shouldn’t be expensive. I’m absolutely turned off from apps that take advantage of diabetics who rely on tech to make their lives easier and more efficient. It shouldn’t cost a subscription to maintain readings of blood sugars that you already pay ALOT of money to keep in check. The app works great with my Dexcom g6, if you are still on that system. Apple CarPlay and other features are incredible, but again I’d rather pay a one time fee to unlock these features than pay subscriptions- this isn’t worth that and feels predatory. ### 5/5 — I love this *2026-05-22* The combination of having readings on my phone lock screen and also on my car play display is such a game changer. I don’t have to interrupt conversations or meetings opening my phone. And I can’t legally even touch my phone while driving….when I really need to keep track of things. Thank you so much for the review ❤️We’re super glad you have nothing to complain about 🤣 but we are open to any feedback! ### 5/5 — Allows BG level to be shown constantly on Apple Watch! *2026-05-15* I guess you can use this app to monitor a loved one's BG but for me, the best thing about it is that it allows your BG rating to be constantly displayed on your Apple Watch! It works with Abbott's Freestyle Libre sensors (and others). You also have to install and setup the LibreLinkUp app first. Until the Freestyle Libre apps get Apple Watch complications this is currently the only way to get your BG displayed on your watch, and it works great! I've been dreaming of having my BG displayed on a wristwatch for like 30 years now! And I actually find it unlikely that Abbott will ever release an Apple Watch complication, it's too difficult to setup and even more so there's too much liability. The reading on the watch can easily get out of sync with the phone app's reading. So until their sensors can transmit to an Apple Watch directly with Bluetooth, I don't see it happening. The app is subscription-based due to a number of reasons: - we have monthly server costs - we constantly update the app (every 2-3 months) so we’re always working on it - we’re a husband and wife who put in hours of work every everyday alongside our full time job - if your CGM is suddenly unsupported (due to restrictions from CGMs), you have the ability to cancel the subscription rather than have paid us a one-off and the app suddenly doesn’t work anymore and you don’t get your money’s worth. We absolutely understand the cost burden on diabetics, and we offer our help to anyone who reaches out to us, but what exactly is “yuck” about this? We are not just taking monthly fees and pocketing it, we are working on updating it constantly as well as paying the sever costs that keep the app running. Every diabetic product costs money (CGMs, skin patches etc), but once the product becomes digital, it’s scrutinised for some reason, even though the same amount of effort and time goes into it. We also try our best to make it really cheap, as low as $2 a month. We also don’t just mirror the CGM app, we have car play integration, extensive customisation to notifications, being able to see your real time reading on lock-screen, extra widgets, messaging integration, different notification profiles and many more things in the app. Thank you for your feedback and I hope this clears up the misinformation. Having my sugars easily available in front of me whether that’s on my lock screen, Apple Watch, or my car’s dash has been the biggest game changer! I’m no longer fumbling around with my phone apps or my pump to see what my sugar is. Knowledge is power and that’s especially true with diabetes! I feel safer, more aware, and more prepared. This app is so useful and doesn’t take away from the number of followers that can track him. I love that I’m able to check not only his BS numbers, but also, the trends. Additionally, it allows me to stay on top of his BS and I’m able to dose his insulin more accurately and keep him in better ranges (ultimately making his A1c better). ### 5/5 — On Dexcom? You need this app *2026-07-15* Sweet Dreams makes the most of the phone's tech so keeping track of blood sugar is as easy and simple as possible. Live tracking from the lock screen, data presentation that's easy and fast to read and a responsive developer. Sweet Dreams is what I hoped the Dexcom G7 app would have been, rather than the steaming pile of junk it is. If you are on Dexcom, do yourself a favour and subscribe to Sweet Dreams. ### 5/5 — Amazing user interface and features. *2026-07-06, version 1.31.2* This app literally has everything I need and nothing cluttering up the screen. The live activities, Carplay interface and customizable alerts are perfect. Seeing readings without unlocking my phone is absolutely fantastic. I can also set alarms at my chosen levels instead of the limited range I had before. I’m so grateful to the makers.
