Don’t rent from anyone who uses this *2024-06-09, version 4.0.53* This app is so unintuitive, clumsy and annoying, despite an elegant interface. Support is unresponsive. The support chat is with a lousy AI bot. When you do get a response, it will probably go to junk mail (never a good sign). I rather cancel my reservation than continue to use this app. ### 1/5 — Completely unreliable app and provider *2024-05-09, version 4.0.52* This app does not function, just like their customer service. Beware, not a good service provider. ### 1/5 — Service client incompétent *2023-10-09, version 3.5.4* Le lendemain de notre checkin a Barcelone, la serrure connectée ne fonctionne plus. Il est 19h, et nous n’avons aucune affaire avec nous, hormis notre portefeuille. Le service client prétend envoyer un technicien qui doit arriver dans 30 minutes, mais qui n’arrive qu'au bout de 4h, avec 4 clés, et aucune ne fonctionne pour ouvrir la porte. Il part chercher « la bonne clé » à l’agence qui n’est qu’à 5 minutes de l’appartement, mais ne revient qu’au bout d’une heure. Avec 20 clés, mais toujours pas la bonne. Il faudra encore 2h pour que Sweet Inn se décide à appeler un serrurier et que celui ci vienne ouvrir la porte à coup de perceuse dans la serrure à 2h du matin… pour finalement découvrir que la pile était sortie du boîtier, et que celui ci n’était donc plus alimenté … Évidement le service client est extrêmement difficile à joindre, promet de nous rappeler pour nous donner des nouvelles, mais ne le fait jamais, et nous a même MENTI en affirmant que le technicien était venu au bout de la demi heure d’attente, qu’il n’y avait personne, qu’il a pu ouvrir et fermer la porte, et est reparti. Le service client nous prend donc pour des idiots … par quel miracle a-t-il pu faire cela sachant qu’il n’a jamais été capable d’ouvrir la porte en notre présence, qu’il a conclu que la clé était perdu, et qu’il a même fini par nous dire qu’il n’était jamais venu lorsqu’on l’a confronté ?? Bref, À FUIR !! ### 1/5 — Avoid if possible *2023-06-25, version 3.5.3* The company motto is “Book an apartment, be treated like a hotel guest”. Laughable. Corporate VRBOs are bad enough in general but this is devoid of humanity. Ridiculous to have to download an app to deal with the rental. And “we typically respond in 2-3 minutes “???? I’ve been waiting 30 so far. ### 1/5 — Horrible User Experience *2022-12-21, version 3.5.1* I booked an apartment in Milan via booking.com and had to sign in for this app to complete the booking process. The service operators are unfriendly, the app was crashing twice. It is really a traveller‘s nightmare. ### 2/5 — Not the way I like! *2022-08-05, version 3.4.5* Don‘t like to get my access via an app. I also needed a second access for elevator and didn‘t found directly…more stress than helpful!! ### 1/5 — Unacceptable reliability *2022-07-05, version 3.4.5* Staying in an apartment where the guests are required to use this app to open and close the door. Worked for two days, then stopped working. As a guest you have to use this app to lock and unlock your apartment…this should be completely reliable. It is not. ### 1/5 — Unreliable *2022-06-26, version 3.4.5* I would avoid booking a rental that uses this app. At first I thought the digital key was a plus (wouldn’t have to coordinate with them in event of late transport, etc). Digital key has been unreliable. Just spent 10+minutes on hold with support because the key was offline; they didn’t resolve it but another resident let us in the building. The app seems to have good information on the appliances in the apartment but they don’t all match. The app says that “the host” usually responds to chat messages within a few minutes, but my experience is it is closer to 24 hours. Not to mention what another reviewer mentioned: it requires using data on my international plan, making the stay not at all cost effective. This app is not a good replacement for a key or a real person. In the future, I will not book a place that requires this app. ### 1/5 — I hate this *2022-03-07, version 3.4.2* I very much don’t like that in order to access the Airbnb you need to download their company’s app. To add insult to injury, the app is janky and doesn’t work well on mobile; it won’t recognize messages from the host as read, which then prevents you from seeing a quarter of the UI of the main page, from which you need to access the digital keys to your Airbnb.
