## What is Swell Check?

Swell Check analyzes data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive accurate forecast of wave height, swell interval, wave condition, water temperature, wind temperature, wind speed and direction, tide and a lot more information to help you decide if today (or the next 9 days) are good to go surfing. Please let me know what updates you would like to see.

### 1.5 — 2026-05-21

Significant visual improvements and performance improvements. Added learning capabilities to forecast to continue to improve as you use the app and report back if the conditions match what you see at the beach. Cleaned up some of the clutter on the screen while providing more useful information and recommendations. There is now an option to ask questions and even journal the characteristics for the day.

Improved visuals with enhanced animations. Improved accuracy with ongoing improvements (the more you use the app the more accurate the surf reports become). Streamlined the map view to combine multiple beaches and improve loading. Improved speed and efficiency of app.

Improved accuracy of main page/favorite surf spots. Improved loading of surf reports and functionality of map.
