## What is Swell Journal?

Dialing in the surf spots on your coast can be difficult, Swell Journal is a organizational tool that helps you organize information about surf sessions with the goal of improving your ability to predict the surf.

After a surf session take a look at the surf report and note the swell direction and period. Open Swell Journal and log that session. Once many sessions have been logged you will be able to make informed decisions about which surf spots will be best based upon your own experiences.
