Deleted. ### 3/5 — Really good until recently *2025-02-07, version 8.1.0* Usually the most reliable app however the Ads are now present everytime you open a page and they can’t be closed — at all, meaning you have to close the app and try again for another ad to play. At 7:10am when I looked, the latest forecast was from 10:02pm the night before. I would have thought a boating forecast app would have an updated morning forecast. Just like I am going to do to this app 👋 ### 3/5 — Simple to use *2023-01-01, version 7.0.2* This app is simple to use however it lacks good location detail I.e Marlborough has little info even though it has the largest coastline in Nz some of the areas that belong under Marlborough are down as Nelson and the weather for these areas seems to be slightly incorrect at times ### 4/5 — Good. Needs more improvements *2022-01-23, version 7.0.2* Great app, and the website is even better. What I would love to see is a map overlay with names of the various places / points of interest. For new starters it can be a mystery what area the forecast applies to. These guys do the very best weather forecasting for boaties and I have been waiting for an app for ages. I was so excited when I stumbled across it in the App Store. Doesn't have all the functionality of the website but it has enough. Tide times would be a great addition. Also I HATE the ads at the bottom - it cheapens the whole app. I didn't pay over a thousand dollars for my nice new iPhone to have the screen real estate wrecked with ads. Please give us the choice of a pro version to remove the ads - I will gladly pay an appropriate price to remove these from my life! Overall a great start guys. Cheers and tight lines! ### 3/5 — Latest update *2020-01-10, version 4.0.2* Not the biggest fan of the latest update, but in conjunction with other apps this works well. ### 2/5 — Was great, now not so good. *2020-01-06, version 4.0.1* I used swellmap boat as my primary sea condition source for a recent kayak trip and found it excellent. Cell reception was not great so we would screenshot day by day information. The latest update is not as good for screenshots as the headers disappear, and there are too many pop up ads which ruin it especially if cell reception is dodgy. Is there a pay version without pop ups? Unable to use at all! ### 1/5 — Pity subscription does not work *2023-09-25, version 7.0.2* Looks like a great app. But the ads are dreadful. Very happy to pay subscription and I have done so. Just a pity that it cannot be activated and the ads removed.
