## What is Swellpoint?

Swellpoint gives you a live view of the waves at Venice Fishing Pier (South Side) in Marina Del Rey, California.

Open the app and see a live HD stream. See camera angles at Fleet St, Catamaran St, and Pier South Side.

AI Surfer Detection counts surfers in the water at each break in real time using computer vision.

Set custom wave height alerts and get push notifications when conditions exceed your threshold.

Real-time conditions are updated throughout the day, including swell height and direction, wind speed and gusts, tide level, water temperature, and air temperature.

Camera is active daily from 5:30 AM to 7:00 PM Pacific.

Improved off-hours behavior. The camera now sleeps from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM PT to extend hardware life, and the app shows a clearer screen during those hours with a countdown to the next live session.
