Ordered on the app drove 20 minutes there and then waited 25 minutes for him to bring my food out and tell me my food has been ready since I got there. He was waiting on my drink for the 25 minutes. I told him just to take it off my card and keep it. They can’t do that so he just gave me cash and was going to keep the tip. lol The food is good if you have an hour for a cold burger. ### 2/5 — Great food, bad app. *2025-05-06* Been eating Swensons for over 30 years. This app does not represent the quality of the business. It’s clumsy and clunky. It logged me out and treats my login as though it doesn’t exist every time. What I don’t like is that you can’t adjust your order in the app, you HAVE to call the restaurant. If they start an order from scratch, they can order a burger. Also, when you try to open the app, it frequently crashes or freezes, no known causes. These have been going on for years. Is this just my location being understaffed or what?? ### 2/5 — Changing your burgers was a bad idea *2022-04-29* App worked ok, I don’t like how there’s no option to pay with cash. More importantly, the buns are different. Soggy and flavorless, the burgers were always small and overpriced but they used to be delicious. Now they’re almost indistinguishable from the junk at fast food places. The fried stuff was still good. ### 3/5 — Save information from previous orders! *2022-01-09* The one thing that keeps me from ordering more often, is that the app requires EVERY TIME that you input: NAME/CARD NUMBER/EXPIRATION DATE/CCV NUMBER/ZIP CODE/AMOUNT/TIP aaaaaaaand then it takes you to ANOTHER screen where you have to input your FULL NAME/PHONE NUMBER/EMAIL ADDRESS… This is 2022 guys. You need to be able to not just save all that info, but you should be able to save previous orders, and favorites. The idea is to drive sales, and your current setup will just keep people from ordering on the go. It needs to be as few buttons as possible, and quick. This is long and cumbersome! Also have had repeated trouble using a saved card. Order fails, then my card gets charged anyway. Order also time out if you take to long to decide and it just provides a general error, not a timeout warning. Generally poor execution. The worst part is, it’ll wait until after I’ve selected all the food and entered my credit card info to tell me that the order failed. When we asked to get a refund, they told us they couldn’t do that because we ordered on the app. There’s nowhere to report a problem on the app, so we don’t have the shakes or the money we spent on them :( ### 1/5 — Card was charged yet order was not placed. *2022-10-29* I am very very very disappointed with this app and swensons right now as a whole. I just ordered $22 worth of food and the app said there was an error. After it became an error it charged my card but my food was never placed or ordered. I proceeded to call and be told that i have to wait 5-7 business days to get that money back?!? That’s my dinner for tonight, I am so highly upset and so so so disappointed with how this issue has so far been addressed. I don’t make that much money and of course the one night I decide I treat myself I lose all my money. I cant wait all week for my money. God knows business days only include mon-fri. i’m gonna be pretty hungry for the rest of the night. Never getting swensons again. ### 1/5 — Missing menu items, incorrect wait times *2021-11-28* I used the app to order from North Olmsted. The app’s menu was missing hot dogs and phosphates. The app said the order would take 30 minutes. When I got there in 20 mins (10 mins early) my food was not only ready, but it was cold. Had to order the hot dog and drink in person because they weren’t answering the phone. I was trying to do a carry out order to bring to other people. I usually get a cheeseburger but tonight I saw the sign for the cheesy Italian burger so I decided to try it out and let me tell you that was the most delicious burger I’ve ever had!!! PLEASE Swensons keep this delicious burger on the menu all the time!!! I will be back before the end of month to get another one. Great app for people who love regular menu items but if your a true Swensons’s lover you might be better off calling or going in person to order ### 3/5 — Options *2025-12-05* It would be nice if there was an option to select light or extra toppings when ordering in the app. ### 3/5 — More options needed *2025-03-14* Overall it’s an easy app to use and gets the job done. However, there is no longer an option for extra cheese on a burger. It was on previous version but now I don’t see it. It would be nice to have even more burger options like cooking well done. I’ve noticed some orders come undercooked and I’d like to specify that on the app like I do in person.
