*2025-08-05, version 2.4*

*2025-07-31, version 2.4*

*2025-07-10, version 2.3.1*

*2025-06-29, version 2.2*

*2025-06-25, version 2.1*

*2025-06-08, version 1.5*

*2025-05-29, version 1.5*

*2025-05-23, version 1.4*

*2025-05-20, version 1.4*

*2025-05-15, version 1.4*

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 3.3.2 — 2026-09-01

The free plan no longer stops at a limit.

Past 30 times a month, Swift Eye keeps reading the same way it always
does. There is a short wait now and then, but what it reads does not
change. Paid plans no longer have a monthly limit at all.

You can see this month's usage under Menu → History and Data →
This Month's Usage.

Also in this version
• Voice questions now play a sound when listening starts and ends
• Fixed the first words of a question sometimes being cut off
• When you reach a limit, we now tell you when it comes back
• Various fixes to spoken feedback and on-screen text

Thank you to everyone who wrote in.

### 3.3.1 — 2026-08-29

Thank you for all the reports on 3.3.0. This update fixes what you told us about.

■ Asking by voice
Fixed an issue where starting to speak in "Ask Swift Eye" silenced all sound on the iPhone and left the app unresponsive. Your question is now sent automatically when you stop speaking, and if you would rather decide yourself, you can choose "Do not send automatically" under "How long to wait after you finish speaking" in Settings.

■ Sharing from Photos and other apps
After analyzing an image shared from another app, you could no longer ask a follow-up question. The keyboard button is now shown so you can ask in writing.

■ Taking photos
Choosing a scene no longer takes a photo immediately — pick the scene, then use the centre button. We also fixed the device slowing down and VoiceOver responding late while the pre-capture guide was on, and you can now hide the guidance in the middle of the screen.

■ Controls and VoiceOver
Fixed the flash button not being reachable by touch exploration. Also fixed the capture countdown not being spoken when sounds and vibration are on, and no confirmation after sending a follow-up question.

■ Usage and plans
Fixed on-device text recognition counting against your monthly usage, and follow-up questions still running analysis after the free limit was reached. Your current plan is now shown in the menu.

We also fixed crashes and a wording error. Please send feedback from "Contact us" in the app.

### 3.3.0 — 2026-08-18

This version brings a complete redesign of the screen and the way you use Swift Eye.

■ A brand-new home screen
The whole screen is now the camera — just tap the center to take a photo. Along the
top there is a menu of scenes you can keep at hand, such as Describe, Expiration
Date, or Price. Choosing a scene takes the photo right away. Buttons now sit in the
same place on every screen, so once you learn where they are, you will not lose them.

■ Ask Swift Eye — ask by voice
You can now ask a question with your voice, without taking a photo. Questions that
need up-to-date information are answered using web search. Swift Eye can also answer
questions about what you photographed before — for example, "Which company was on
that business card I took?" — based on your history (for those using history cloud
backup). Follow-up questions after a photo are sent automatically when you finish
speaking.

■ Help while you shoot
The light turns on automatically in dark places, and Swift Eye tells you when a photo
came out blurry or too dark. Turn on "Pre-capture guide" in Settings and Swift Eye
will tell you what the camera is pointing at before you take the photo. With a
document, it tells you whether the edges are cut off or the page is tilted. In other
situations it names what it sees, with position and distance — for example, "a chair
in the center" or "about one meter ahead on the left, a table."

■ Read files
In addition to PDFs, images, and text, Swift Eye can now read Office files such as
Word and PowerPoint.

■ Create your own scenes
Save the things you ask most often as your own scene and place it in the home menu.

■ New plans
Pro and MAX have been added, each with a 3-day free trial. If you are already on a
paid plan, you keep the same price and the same features automatically.

We have also improved the stability of spoken feedback and fixed a number of issues.
We welcome your thoughts and requests through "Contact Us" in the app.

### 3.2.6 — 2026-07-20

This update greatly improves the VoiceOver experience.
- Swift Eye now announces "Swift Eye is analyzing" in your own VoiceOver voice and speaking rate
- Fixed buttons being read in English and speech continuing after leaving a screen
- Fixed an issue where a second analysis from the Share menu could fail
- Volume/side-button capture now uses your latest AI tool right after switching

### 3.2.5 — 2026-07-19

What's New

• Fixed an issue where the volume buttons or Camera Control button sometimes failed to take a photo. The setting now takes effect immediately.
• Improved recognition accuracy for photos taken in dark places.
• You can now select and delete multiple photos at once from your analysis history, making it easier to free up storage.
• Improved VoiceOver: Swift Eye now announces while analysis is in progress, reads results from the beginning, and stops reading when you leave the screen.
• Clearer plan guidance when analyzing from the Share menu.
• Other minor fixes.
