## What is Swift Protocols?

Swift Protocols is the official companion app for agencies using the Swift EMS Solutions platform. It provides secure, offline access to clinical protocols, operational documents, and department guidelines—ensuring that field providers always have the most up-to-date information.

Designed for EMS personnel, fire departments, and other operational teams, Swift Protocols mirrors the access and permissions granted to each user through their organization’s online account. The app automatically syncs with updates made by your organization’s administrators, ensuring the content always reflects the most current version available online.

### 2.1 — 2026-06-16

This update brings two new features to make your day easier:

Floating Checklists — keep an active checklist right at your fingertips. It now follows you as a movable on-screen bubble, so you can reference it anytime without losing your place. Just drag it aside (or away) when you're done.

Remember My Place — the app now picks up right where you left off, even after closing it completely.

Plus the usual round of UI refinements and bug fixes throughout.

### 2.0 — 2026-02-23

This is our biggest update yet! Users will noticed an improved UI experience with new pages for your organizations contacts and locations. Users will be able to sort by time or distance and filter by location capabilities. Also, we've fully implemented offline video support. You might also noticed our new checklists capabilities with timestamps and running timers.

### 1.4 — 2025-10-28

We've made pairing more reliable than ever with a new multi-redundant authentication system designed to keep your device connected. You’ll also notice a new notification icon that keeps track of every alert your device receives. Also, the update spinner on the home screen turns into a progress bar when there is content being downloaded.

### 1.3 — 2025-10-15

We've improved the reading experience with better chapter navigation and a smoother registration process. Behind the scenes, we've added crash reporting to help us fix issues faster and made syncing more reliable. This update also includes better organization management with customizable data retention policies, improved image loading, and general performance enhancements for a smoother experience.

### 1.2 — 2025-09-02

External links are now handled correctly. Chapter and section links are working properly. Phone number properly launch the phone app. Search results now have relevance based rankings to help get you to the information you need faster. The chapter expansions animations on the table of contents have been enhanced with smarter logic. Various optimizations have been implemented under the hood.
